31 M , 5’11 215lbs bf 8%

Goal is lean muscle mass with minimal fat increase. Currently 13 weeks out from my first BB show

Been running AAS for 5 years. First 4 years I’ve cycled on and off, year 5 I started to blast and cruise, Currently on 300mg test e , 100mg DHB

Current macros:

Calories 3530

Carbs: 460g

Protein: 292g

Fat: 58g



Today I started to track my BG level throughout the day to get a base level reading of how my body regulates BG on its own,

6am Fasted ready 89mg/dL

7am After eating (50g cream of rice and 1 cup blueberries) 154 mg/dL

2 hour after eating 124mg/dL



Disclaimer the food I show below is what I am eating already. There isn’t much increase in carbs except for the intra workout maltodextrin.

I’m starting low on slin to assess how my body reacts .
5 on 2 off
Slin will be run for 4 weeks on

6am Wake up 2iu GH

Start eating 50g cream of rice, 1 cup blueberries

15 mins after 4iu Humalog, right after shot starting sipping shake 60g maltodextrin, 5g glutamine, 5g Creatine.

7am - workout , sip on 30g (carbs) maltodextrin, EAA.

8:45am Post workout shake- 48g protein, 5g glumtamine, 1 banana

9am post workout meal - 50g cream of rice , 1 cup blueberries

No, you're 13 weeks out from a show. The goal now is to get shredded down to low single digit body fat. There's no building lean muscle at this point in prep. Get shredded and focus on nothing else

This is NOT the time to be using insulin!


215 @8% 13 weeks out for a show and you've got your calories at 3500 and running slin? Change this or you're going to look like crap on stage. You need to get absolutely Peeled during these coming months

And no I’m not running insulin it was simply posted for discussion. Not if it made sense because to me it does but what do I know that’s why I’m here ;)

Not angry, just being clear that at 13 weeks out (which I now know was a typo) you're not in a position to focus on growth and at that size 3500 calories is too high for dieting down unless your energy expenditure is extreme

Correct you know nothing about my training regiment or anything in that matter so you have no idea about 3500 cal being too much or too little even at 13 weeks out if that was the case. maybe for you it is… everyone is different as we all know. Looks like all the WKM still acting the same here lol.

Why ask for advice, then get upset with people when they give it to you? As far as first overall, who cares, depends on the competition you were facing. A lot of shows are pretty pathetic as far as the quality of competition goes.

Isnt it advised to take gh on empty stomach. And not to eat anything at least 1.5 hours after. So the islulin spikes and glucose doesn't kill of the gh. What is the consensus amongst the pros for the timing

GH then insulin then food, they all work with each other together, you don't want to separate them
