Internal transaction issue

What up everyone.

I recently made a purchase through a renowned member here which I have used for a few years. I was having a issue with my btc, so I completed the transaction with eth. The transaction shows on the blockchain and etherscan as a internal transaction. However the source claims the transaction has not been completed and will no longer respond. I have many sources of proof of a completed transaction, and a source who disregards as a scam or something.

As I stated, I usually do not use this method of payment but it is still a completed and successful transaction. How do I prevent this in the future and how do I get the source to understand that he has my money? Though it may not show as a transaction on his account, yet the funds reflect in his account?

Did you send the ETH from an exchange like coinbase and not from a wallet and/or was the place you sent it a payment service like bitpay?

Yes, regretfully. As I stated I usually do not, but was a relatively small transaction, and was having a issue with my hardware wallet.

OK... coinbase uses smart contracts to batch multiple ETH transfers so they show as internal transactions if that's how the ETH transfer was done. Some wallets and payment services like bitpay may not show internal transactions but if the transaction was ok, then the ETH balance would be reflective of that.

Yes. But the vendor is being a dick thinking I am scamming him or something. I have done business with him for a few years without issue. It is fully visible on blockchain and etherscan as a completed transaction but does not believe I paid him. I did my best to explain the situation. However, he is no longer seems to be responding. I gave him plenty of options to educate, resolve, and discover the funds with proof but my responses appear to be disregarded.
