I was using gatorade preworkout but it really causes gas and upset stomach.

What does everyone use as a good carb loaded preworkout, and intra/or drink?

Are intra drinks good even if not on slin?
 
karbolyn seems pretty good just pricey

Currently using a intra with cyclic dextrin and a small amount of aminos. I can find karbolyn in my country in 2 versions, the simple one and the other with electrolytes in. They have almost the same, like 56 bucks for 2000gr first version and 1850gr the electrolytes one. Is this a good price compared with how much you find it? Have you tried it? Because cyclic dextrin ain't cheap too.

$50 for the karbolyn fuel (carb one). I like it and have some but currently using a couple ounces of Gatorade with some aminos and creatine and the rest water.


I can’t tell a difference from any of the suppliments and if it wasn’t for my weak mind thinking it might be helping Inwoukdnt take any of them. Hell, I just started taking creatine. I think most of it’s a scam lol

Karbolyn has been great for me. I believe it's 50g of carbs per scoop and most of the flavors are solid. I especially like the strawberry or blueberry lemonade ones.

I'm a Gatorade powder lover myself, but I also use nutrabios super carb occasionally as well.

Seems to be the cleanest digesting cyclic dextrin for me.

It was 3 scoops, so 60 grams carbs. And it was not diluted alot. I drank it mostly preworkout in one go.

I will be giving utilizing it i guess with more water and during exercise as well
 
I dont use intra workouts often but if I do it's just Gatorade or eat some haribos gummy bears, they have both have dextrose I think. Or just eat hunny sticks i have a farm stand near by that makes honey sticks with local honey all different flavors it helps with my allergies also. I think I seen before that power lifters like honey sticks also, not sure?

yeah you are going to have a bad time if you chug it like that.

Dilute it in 750-1000ml and sip it through your workout.
 
How much sodium? However i think gatorade has some in there too already, as i am trying gatorade again.
I just shake some in. Same as i do my food. I don't measure any of it. When my muscles start getting really tight/sore especially in the summer i know to increase my intake of sodium. The body is pretty self regulating.

Yes, this. Unless you're salt-sensitive on GH like I am (CTS), I don't see people who exercise/sweat having any problems salting their food to preference.

If you're on a very restrictive diet, then yeah I can see how more meticulous attention to electrolytes could be more important.
 
I make a huge shake of 8oz of fruit and 3 scoops of whey. I sip it on the way to the gym and finish it before I’m done with my workout. No insulin but the difference in workouts is huge for me. I won’t work out without it.

That doesnt bother your stomach as you lift?

I understand. we all have our own beliefs and comfort zones. My answers are usually a general answer unless i say different and not intended to cover every situation all the time. Long ago i quit trying to micromanage the bodies processes as i found it often went it's own way and not per my plan.

Is vitargo equivalent to cyclic dextrin?
The place I usually get it from had vitargo instead, this time round, so I got that.
Is the only difference that vitargo is from maize?
