Are you crazy? That would wipe out his "extensive" stock in one order. Then he'd have to send the kids off to Grandma's house so he could pull out "baby's first chemistry set" and brew another 50 vials. All while conveniently forgetting to take photos of the setup.
Maybe the kids are at Grandpas house and hes waiting until Spring break is over until they leave.
