Whats got me thinking is how many people ordered from here that doesn’t comment on the thread. That probably had the same issues and pinning this shit and not knowing what’s even in it.

Agreed man. Everyone of us should create a thread of the basic standards these new sources should abide by. And if they can’t provide just the basics of what members want in a timely manner, then they should be shown the door!
Obviously everything can’t be disclosed but certain things could definitely be met.
I know the scoc had issues (can’t exactly remember what all it was atm) but it was at least a guideline.
Has to be a way we could screen these scamming fucks earlier on,(but Ik people will still order.) At least they’d see early on if a source/lab doesn’t comply instead of bs excuses by them, page after page, just buying their time to try and get as many orders before that bounce.

I agree, and there is a very simple way to do it.
If the source got juice ready to be sold, can take picture of filtration setup, at least that ffs, why he wouldnt do so?
It can dramatically increase number of sales.
So why they can't provide that at the beginning?
SIMPLE: because the are fucking scammers and they don't have serious stock and they dont have serious filtration / sterilization setup.
That's why they are buying time with BS excuses, so they can take on more orders from noobs or eager risk takers.
Both noobs and eager risk takers are making this vettin process harder then it should be.
Nothing we can do about it I guess.
But suppose there is a new source thread and source opens up with offer and he provides picture of shitload of stock, whole filtration setup and sterilization tools and describes how he does what and what he uses.
Imagine he provides that beforehand, without anyone asking for it.
And a bonus, he provides analyze of each raw powder he is using to make finished oils.
BOOOOOOOOM - instant mega fucking sales

he doesnt have a lot of money invested and he wants make money this way to expand.

Good post, I get frustrated myself when a source pops up, and people order right away, than get burned. Somehow the vetting process needs to be taken more seriously by the members as well. Would love to hear suggestions from everyone.

The vetting process is fine in my opinion.
You can't stop people from making bad decisions. The right questions are asked when a new source shows up here. If a source avoids answering those questions or the answers aren't adequate then people shouldn't order in my opinion but everyone is free to make their own decisions.
I believe it was @bickel29 who said in a thread a while ago he has ordered from over 10 sources who are or were here at Meso over the years and he has received good gear from them all.
I know for a fact many others have had similar experiences here. The information is out there for members to make wise decisions. Whether or not they choose to use it is often a different thing.
None of that means that most respected members are ever going to say any source is good to go. That isn't the way it works as anyone who has been in the game for any period of time knows that a "good" source can go south overnight so you never say that.
But reading through the threads of sources will provide anyone who is looking all of the information they need to make informed buying decisions.
I just wonder if there's too much of the "get the fuck out of here" messages going on too early in the threads, and hence people ie members aren't taking it seriously. Just random thoughts on my part

A source should have only a short time to make his pitch and being upfront with how his operation generally works. A solid intro with a good presentation of products offered along with test results done by a reputable testing lab (Simec for example). Also unbiased reviews.
Even still as hard ass as Meso is there still no guarantees. If we had every new source read the 24k thread and learn how to conduct business here that be another thing.

I was looking at the first page of this intro, went completely south by the 5th post. might have been better to to ask his the list of things we want, and than go silent and let the thread bury itself until the guy actually provides some info. all we're doing by keeping the shit going is giving the source free advertising. probably way over simplifying

You really have a good point there man. I was skeptical of this guy from the start....just a gut feeling. That feeling, coupled with a very bad day at work, got under my skin; leading to me saying things out of my character. For that I had to apologize.
I do think this guy is dishonest; but I, for one, could have been much more professional in my thinking and responses.
I look at the grilling of new sources as a job interview, where members are the emoloyer. I couldn’t imagine a potential boss saying some of the things we do during an interview.
On the other hand, I could not imagine going to an interview, as a potential employee, without dressing well and coming prepared with the right tools for the job.
It’s hard to blame a loser for being a loser; when we buy from the loser before the interview is complete.
The number of young and or eager buyers seems to far surpass the mature/patient members here. So there is an inherent lending to premature sales for new sources. But how do we curtail that?
What if new sources had PM disabled before vetting is complete? Or if posting source email address and price list was prohibited before all vetting requirements were met?
Not sure if that crosses into the realm of censoring or playing daddy; but it seems like we could do better.
I, for one, am open to any idea that protects the physical and financial health of members. The safety-oriented nature of the Meso vets is one of the reasons I asked to be allowed to join here. There is not another Meso, and I sure don’t want this board to become the place where morons with a get-rich-quick scheme can come and go unscathed.
