Hello All! US: PNW man, RN, Former YO-YO dieter, until NOW! That red flashing light in the dashboard of my human psyche is going off!? May be time for an "oil change?" Not engine trouble I hope. Kickin' tires...I've lost 60# over the last year and feeling like I've got a last shot at turning this around and hitting my goal of being in the best shape I've ever been in by 50! (2.5 yrs) And continuing to get really interested and enthusiastic about health, Lean muscle mass, nutrition and Wholeness. Thank you contributors both men and women younger and Wisdom ones to the writing here. It's "old school" but the beginning of lifting ed: was from "Body for life" a book I picked up in the early 90s I'm using it again. I learned some basics and good form free weights originally and had the nearest athletic build after a year of discipline - then I fell off and into the refrigerator... I'm doing "body for life" because it's familiar and it is a place to restart. "Pre- workout pre series bulk" clean eating and working out 6 days a week. Currently no other sups. I am just a month in lifting so I'm just blasting through beginner pain and living the truth of muscle having memory. It's coming back quick. I'm in this amazing place of newness and feeling like a sponge! I am here to learn and contribute. So many of you are inspiring! Highest n Best! -SeaTownLifter
