No. You dont really lose fat during a bulk, you need calorie deficit for that. During a bulk you are in a calore deficit, the exact opposite, to gain weight/muscle.

Sounds like an impossible task. During the period of weight gain, we want to reduce the level of fat in the body. We will definitely gain not only muscle and fat. It is not possible to recruit only muscles. You need to decide on the task and not try everything at once.

No, they mainly do it to maintain better insulin sensitivity. Doesnt increase metabolism or fat burning, its just a way to periodize your nutrition in regards to your needs(on days you train a big bodypart or a lagging one for example) and stay leaner and healthier in the long run. It also gives you a chance to eat more nutritious food and healthy fats from a health point of view.

Yes, I think people are so freakin confused about proper nutrition because most of what the average population knows about nutrition comes from what they see on a commercial or a stupid influencer on social media.

So yes, as a whole, I believe there is a systemic misunderstanding about it.

If it's your first cycle (not sure if it's @Kotby 's first cycle or not), you are doing it wrong if you don't get leaner and grow muscle at the same time.
