So that most of people and me miss understanding about fat burning and muscle gain with carb cycleNo, they mainly do it to maintain better insulin sensitivity. Doesnt increase metabolism or fat burning, its just a way to periodize your nutrition in regards to your needs(on days you train a big bodypart or a lagging one for example) and stay leaner and healthier in the long run. It also gives you a chance to eat more nutritious food and healthy fats from a health point of view.
