Got 475# for a single squat today. Volume set later in the week, shooting for 425# 5 X 5. I'd be OK with that...

Nice squat. After my warmup sets I've been repping out one set of 405 X 10 for a while and then hitting one rep for 455 every week.

I'm trying to work back towards my old routine of 1 set-135x10, 1 set-225, 1 set-315 (these are the warmup sets) then 2 sets of 405 X 10 and an occasional max rep of 505. I was a bit younger when I was doing my former leg routine and I might not ever be able to do it again but it is still a goal I've set for my old ass.

Edit: I was lucky that my first workout partner was a leg fanatic and i just thought everyone blew out legs every week. It wasn't until later I realized that in reality not many people truly work legs at all. I love to work legs and believe heavy leg work is staple in developing a sound physique
