well, i'm about half way through in a 12-week prep for my first show and me and my boyfriend broke up. He was also my training partner. He says he wants to still be friends but ugh. (we started out as just friends). It's really screwed up my food the last couple days becuase when i get upset i don't eat enough. I just shuttled down to 1800 cals a day (from 1900) and yesterday and the day before i didn't even make that. I'm worried about losing too much muscle because i am already quite lean. I'm on 100 mg Primo a week (split) and 10 mg winstrol/day (jsut started the win). That's helping me retain muscle, but still.....this sucks. And i was right on point too. Looking good, feeling good (well, a little carb deprived, but you know). And we are supposed to go to Mr. O together this weekend. Flying out Friday, back on Sunday. Ugh. Sorry, just had to vent.

Being friends after a breakup in my experience is a genuinely good hearted idea. But it never works. Im sorry, stay strong. There are alot more people out there for you to meet. Just be patient, and move on!!!!

Yeah, i know it isn't going to work. He was supposed to help me with my show in late October and I dont want him there even tho that leaves me with no one to go with me. All my friends have obligations and don't know this lifestyle. And I'm supposed to go with him to Miami in Nov. where he is up to get his pro card but I really don't want to do that either. I hate that our lives are so entangled. We share a gym space too.

Sorry! The best thing I think for you to do, is to tell him to take good care of himself. Then delete and block his number. Just go to another gym. Or else it will only be harder on you, moving on at this point is both nessasary for your physical and psychological well being. Take care of yourself!

You're a strong woman, you'll push through this like a boss.

Enjoy the Mr. O and use it to renew your dedication.

And I consider it his loss. A mature woman who loves to lift, has tattoos and runs/owns a head shop (if I remember correctly?) and is OK with our AAS lifestyle? Yeah, his loss :)

Just want to make sure I read this right:

The breakup with your boyfriend fucked up your eating bc you're only eating 1800cals when you should be eating 1900cals?

i went to Mr. O and the expo. With him. It was actually good! We are back to being friends. Its ok because it really would have never worked out for the long term, and really we weren't going out for all that long (few months). He is a LOT younger than me. And i mean a lot. But anyhoo, we are still upholding each other in bodybuilding and that means a lot, especially because most of the general populace doesn't understand this sport at ALL. So now i am just taking time for me and focusing on my show and my business. I know one day i will meet someone to go out with again, its just hard in this tiny town. Hope to open a location in Dallas area next year which will allow me to maybe meet some guys to have fun with and go out! By then my head will be on straighter. And on another note we worked out at Destination Dallas in Plano, one of the Metroflex gyms, and it was awesome! Love that place!
