1. Why did you let the P.I. in your house without a search warrant
2. I doubt they would give you time to clean house and then come back with a search warrant
3. Have you read the 5th Amendment?

Where did they find samples? Did you sign for a pkg?

Is it possible they didn't have enough info to obtain a warrant, so they went to his with the local police to scare him into cleaning house. When he leaves the house with the goods, police stop him for a minor traffic violation and search the car. Police give all kinds of reasons to search you or your car. The goods are found, no search warrant and you have to prove a PI was ever at your house. His story still sounds bogus, because you could always flush the evidence and that's better than going to jail.

2. they cant arrest you for getting a package. anyone can send anything to whomever they want, anytime anywhere. i can have someone from mexico send cocaine to jane doe packaged poorly and have her arrested and convicted? that case would be circumstantial and extremely hard to get 12 jurors to convict so and so.. 3. DAMAGE THE HARD DRIVE. Formatting/erasing doesnt delete anything. The disk creates backup files on the hard drive and the only way to remove them is by completely damaging it. Take a hammer to it.

4) Clean whole house

Skeeter, WTF? LE doesnt assume he will leave his house with "goods" especially with a vehicle. and what minor traffic violation would allow local enforcement to search your car? so your argument has no merit in that regard.

This case is easy to beat anyway. They are almost letting you go. Just clean house and dont say a word. Deny the package is yours.
