Correct, not in its entirely, because you'd have to experience it fully to know it, but you can still grasp most of it logically. For example, I can certainly imagine how painful it could be to be burnt at the stake, but I wouldn't know it in entirely unless I was burnt at the stake lol.No, why are you talking about ego again? I was talking about stages of meditation.There are many. The state of the observer is only the first stage and no, you can't just reach it in a split second. That takes time and practice. Maybe you're mistaking it for something else or your view of it is somehow skewd. And no, you can't understand it logically, not really. At least not in it's entirety. It's experiential knowledge.
