Kratom anyone?

Kratom has been a life saver for me since I broke my back. Way more effective than hydrocodone. Matches about 30 mg of oxycodone without the intoxicating effects. Whenever I've ran out of it it was nowhere near as bad as coming off any pills. Mildly uncomfortable that's all. No diarrhea etc.

Someone said heroine withdrawal can be deadly but that’s just not true. Oh trust me you want to die and consider putting yourself out of your misery by killing yourself but other than that there isn’t risk of death.

"Hey yo it's just another bomb track". :D

i read years ago, i believe it was in the Merck index, that withdrawal can evoke serious or deadly disease.

It didn't specify anything in particular. Just that vague sentence. i always wondered what they meant.

i'll see if we still have the book and quote it verbatim tomorrow.

From all my personal experiences and research it isn’t deadly to healthy individuals. It’s potentially deadly for people in very poor health like someone with serious cardiovascular issues as the rise in bp/pulse might be too much to handle.

Alcohol/benzodiazepine/barbiturate withdrawal can be deadly tho and would definitely be considered a medical emergency, never wise to stop cold turkey without medical supervision otherwise you’ll most likely regret it later.

Id like to see (would probably be impossible) the comparison on increased number of people taking Kratom as part of a daily routine. The number had to skyrocket in the last 10 yrs. I know first hand if you take to much you feel toxic & hungover the next day. It's a tool to help possibly kick a "bigger" issue, but definitely can be abused.

Also just for a side note, a lot of credit card companies just stopped allowing Kratom to be purchased from the sites via credit card. I know the place my cousin gets his cbd from just announced the stop of Kratom purchase with credit/debit cards. Supposedly the owner of the company is at a loss of 10grand that he said won't be recoverable.

They kind of inflate those numbers, I think they count anyone who OD'd with kratom in their system as a kratom death, but if you drank kratom then shot fent or something crazy you can hardly attribute it to the kratom. If you narrow it down to deaths where ONLY kratom was a factor the list is whittled down to nothing.

That said kratom is an opiate same as dope and fent, I'm trying to quit it now. I was up to 40 grams a day, right now I'm down to under 15g

Correct. They addressed that with:

Through the study, the authors determined that in at least seven deaths kratom was the only drug listed on the toxicology report by the coroner. In 84 cases, kratom combined with other drugs contributed to the death of the person.

Schedule I for Kratom seems about as logical as having marijuana on the same level, but no one ever said our law makers were the brightest folks to begin with.

i just wanted to post it up for those that use it.

Kratom in the news today:

https://www.patheos.com/blogs/withoutacrystalball/2019/04/kratom-100-deaths/.

edit: looks like you already got to that

Anyone here take Kratom? I do. Practically saved my life and my gains lol. I was drinking a handle of vodka a day at one point about 4 years ago. All while cycling too. So stupid.
All my numbers were elevated to the point the doc said I would be put on BP meds and cholesterol meds. Liver values were high to. So I started looking for something and found kratom. I figured I would give it a try, thinking it wouldn't do a thing. First time I tried it I dumped my vodka down the drain. And haven't drank since. I lost 37lbs and gained abs. Just by stopping the drinking and taking Kratom.

It can be addictive and withdrawals can be pretty bad. But I only use it on weekends and if it's during the week 1 to 2 times a day at the most. And I use a small amount.

But if u haven't tried it and are struggling with any kind of addiction. TRY IT! Ive read people stopping a heroin addiction by using it. HEROIN!!! I also had a buddy that was a 10 plus year Oxy addict. I convinced him to try Kratom and said what's the worse that happens? It doesn't work and u go back to Oxy. So he did and 2 weeks later he came back to me and said .....dude I haven't taken or even thought about pills since u gave me Kratom.
It's good stuff. Don't believe the FDA propaganda and the "deaths" because of Kratom. EVERY single death related to Kratom that they have claimed.....all had other hard drugs in their system. Benzos. Heroin. Oxy..... But they blame the Kratom. It's all a scam to ban it cause big pharma wants it banned so they can keep getting people hooked on their drugs.

Feel free to ask me anything if u are interested in trying it. I also know a few good sites to buy it from for cheap. DO NOT buy it from head shops. It's garbage and way too expensive. Can get a 250g bag for $25 online. Where as a 28g bag is $25 in headshops and is garbage quality.

Hello MW glad to see you back.

thats a lot. too much of the stuff just made me throw up and feel sick.
never had a problem without it. similar to not drinking coffee.

its an opiate like sarms are steroids.
its structurally related to yohiminbine. for me its acts like a mild stimulant, appetite suppressant .

I'm just saying it gets you addicted and sick the same as heroin, it's just an equivalency. The addiction and withdrawal is like 10% of dopes the same way the high and euphoria and painkilling power is like 10% of dopes.

the same, or 10%?:)
personally I've never had a problem with it. found it to useful as a mild stimulant, appetite suppressant, and felt good overall.

You wanna cure an addiction? Every time u feel like doing the vice go do something positive instead. Every fucking time u feel like taking a drag go for a jog instead, brush your teeth, do a set of pushups, etc.

Once u see that there are positive options then its easier to stop doing all of that dumbass shit.

It's pretty much a given nowadays that bodybuilders are recreational drug addicts also. It's not all abt looks, what ever happened to feeling good abt life? I'm no saint either, and I've had a few bad vices before, but at the end of the day what it all comes down to is if u truly wanna change

I have always been interested about when GHB was legal what the culture of it was in relation to bodybuilding. When I first got into illegal shit on the internet back in like '05 a lot of ghb ran in the gear market.
