Here they're saying there is color change with certain hormones and reagent combinations.

Here they're saying on page 4-5 there isn't like the Bill Roberts' article.

Just presenting the findings. Make of it what you will about how effective LM is.

If you made you're own reagents they'd cost pennies per test not 5-17 dollars LM is ripping people off for. 100ml of Sulfuric Acid with one gram of ammonium vanadate will get you Mandelin reagent. That's how dancesafe is doing it.

So did Mercury ever answer whether he has a vested interest in labmax's success financial or otherwise? Didn't think so. Every post he makes he seems to be more and more of a shill and if someone is so moronic enough to think all acid is good for is to dispose of bodies then I'm not sure what anyone is doing listening to him.

He vehemently denies any compensation for Labmax sales. Since he was/is the resident expert at interpreting LM results, it is possible that his dogged persistence is more emotional than economic. Just trying to give the benefit of the doubt...

I must have missed where he said it but thanks for pointing it out.

So is this the same chart labmax has? I don't feel like spending $150 for reagents and a fancy box that sell on ebay for pennies a test.

You'll note that it can't detect raw prop and enanthate just like the Scientific Working Group for the Analysis of Seized Drugs' pdf said. So how the hell does different oils, solvents, and preservative change that?

I'm glad to see that people realize duplicating this reagent test is very possible with a little research and then dialing in through trial and error. I'm most interested in the UV light part and what chemical(s) glow in the presence of 365nm light. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I believe there's a good chance vanillin is it. Maybe not in labmax. However they've been able to detect the presence of AAS since the sixties using simple tests involving acid, vanillin and UV light. I believe they would absorb the sample in something like blotter paper, add the solution and then apply uv light to pick up spots where substance is concentrated.
