It has taken me 2 weeks to find the correct way to get LabCorp to run a total testosterone to endpoint. My labs are done through my insurance; so the result I wanted was evidently obscured by BCBS.
The order code for LabCorp uncapped total testosterone is 070001.
Your lab tech will have to order the test by this code to receive a numeric value greater than 1500.
The out of pocket cost, without insurance, is $62.77.
My original sample is now past the discard date; so I must be redrawn. Hope this is helpful to anyone going through their PCP for lab work.
