Lean bulk diet for 1st cycle

Hi, I'm on first cycle. I read I should be at 3200 cals base for my lean mass. (200lbs @ 8.5%) then add 500 cals per day/week to raise to 3700 for a starter. My question is. I just came off a 16 week cut, natty, got down to 5% at 185lbs. Was only eating 1500 cals per day for the last couple of weeks. Would you suggest I start at 2500, then move to to 3000, then 3500? Watch how my body responds. Then for macros. I was totally weaned off carbs. Traditionally carbs + me = fat. Would starting at 200g per day then adding 50g per day/week be good? Protein I always keep at 1g per lbs of bodyweight. I usually carb cycle for my cuts. Ive never intentionally dieted up, or used a cycle. I just have fat kid complex, as I used to be fat.

Thanks for all your help peeps! Loving Me so!

I'm doing something similar but I'm a hard gainer so it's a little different. I'm 5'7" 177, started at 2800 and saw no gain after 2 weeks, went to 3000 and still nothing, now at 3200 waiting to see.
Only question is at only 200 carbs and 185 pro that's going to account for about 1600 cals... to get to 3500 the remaining 1900 cals are going to come from fat sources?

If its your first cycle it has the potential to be your best and you can put on some good poundage. Don't "lean bulk" it's a pile of BS. You need to BULK!!!

Like 5000 cal bulk. EAT : nom nom nom!!! chicken, rice, milk, eggs, oats, peanut butter, spinach, etc.

Who cares if you put on a little fat. boohoo... when you are done your bulk, then you can up the cardio and cut.

Haha! Thanks! I appreciate the blunt and yet, still caring advice! Caring about my gains! Thanks. I'm gonna change my strategy up a bit.

If you were on such a drastic cut that got you down to 5% I would be cautious at first. There is something called re-feeding syndrome. If you shock your body to fast with a ton of calories after being in a large caloric deficit for so long your body may get extremely bloated from holding onto everything you eat. You can get compartment syndrome which is extreme edema which needs immediate medical attention. I only mention this because it happened to me before. For 2 weeks I would gradually reintroduce extra calories. Then bulk. Just my opinion.

Thanks

Thanks! This advice is greatly appreciated. I plan on going up I stages and watching how my body responds. This week 2500 per day. Next week 3000 per day. Then adding 200 a week to daily value from there. See how my body responds. I have time until my gear is fully kicked in anyways.

Personally I'd just keep doing 200 increments weekly, 2500, 2700, 2900, and keep accessing
