 buggered the hell out of my left arm :( wasn't even at the gym. Reached out to get my phone while laying in bed elbow felt funny for a sec then it went numb/pins and needles fuckin weird feeling. Doc thinks I have inflammation in my elbow (maybe tendon?) that's pressing a nerve when I extend my arm  told me to stop straining it and give it a few weeks to a month before we worry about it. So I guess I'm just going to make the leg press my bitch for the next month and see if I can't add an inch or 2 to my quads:p
Maybe some core work idk? Shit sucks.

Also insurance doesn't kick in till September:(

Squat was a no go this morning. No safety squat bar at my gym and hack squat is out too. Can't fully extend left arm or reach back with it.:( kinda looking like leg press, random leg machine work and core work I guess planks fml idk:oops:

I feel your pain, let it heal :)

Shhh perrin is a powerlifter but I'm pretty sure you didn't upset him just don't mention shaving or smithmachines. He also has some weird ability to talk to wolves and an affinity for blacksmith work:eek:
Lol, Yeah I know the type.
They workout in cutoff jeans and a hoodie and squat with 75lbs of chains around there neck. Haha

Just jersey shorts and a t-shirt for me. I have almost no experience with leg press, all i know is all the dudes at my gym that use it religiously have legs that look like they don't lift. I just think there's better options.
I agree man. I would say 60% of the dudes at my gym don't work out legs at all. The ones that are only do leg presses. Some go heavy most don't. I can still squat but I only go lite with higher reps. It's more of a cardio thing for me. I talked about this before with a few of the other vets here. I have fractured my back and have blown out knee that was never repaired. I have to utilize others leg exercises and do legs 3 X week and have definitely made progress. When I do Leg press I'm hitting 5 X12 1000lb three times a week.

Nothing wrong with leg presses. Some guys can't even activate quads while doing squats. They just active glutes. There's guys that bench all the time and don't look like they lift either. There are no mandatory exercises. Lunges are another option as well.
