Liberal hypocrisy

I was talking to a Liberal guy I know last night who told me they hated GWB because of his military record. Later in the conversation he went on to say that if there was a draft he would consider moving to Canada. So if GWB gets special attention during Vietnam and doesn't have to go, he is a "pussy" ,as he said, who should not be President. But if there's a draft and you move to Canada to avoid it, there's nothin wrong?

Is it wrong for me wanting to kick his ass after that conversation?

That is funny and just shows how narrow minded some of these fanatics really are.

What I think is really funny though is how the dems try to say Clinton was the greatest president we have ever had.....but he DID dodge the draft by heading off to Europe!!! Military experience was NOT a requirement back then was it??? Oh no.....hell, even Kerry downplayed the significance of combat experience in 1992 when that question came up.

I was waiting for a drawn out finish to the election based on Liberals deciding this year that it wouldn't be the "popular vote" that counted, but the "Electoral college."

Well, I would first off like to say that you are correct that is very hypocritical. Secondly, I would also like to say that both conservatives and liberals can be equally hypocritical if it serves them. Remember, liberalism and conservatism are just ideologies, they are not necessarily indicative of the character of the person. Blanket statements, or stereotyping, holds no water with me or anyone else~Sensational

I know it seemed like a stereotype, but that's not what I ment. I guess the title would be kind of misleading in that case. But the reason I said it like that was because that is one major point that Liberals critisize President Bush on, and many that I know would never join the military, much less stay in the country for a draft.

Your point is very valid.
