Macros (IIFYM) VS "Clean Eating"

This is how I look at the whole thing.. Just about every veteran I've talked to said they would choose the original negma parabolan over today's ugl tren. Sure, it contains the same thing, but one of them is going to do you WAY better than the other and give better results (Bad example because parabolan doesn't exist anymore but you get the idea). Yeah sure, eating shit food will give you calories, but so will eating right. You could also put cheap gas in your car vs expensive 93. They will both get you where you need to go but one will start to cause problems eventually. And honestly when I eat something heavily processed it makes me feel sick, my body just doesn't want it. I'm sure some people can get it down, but eventually it WILL catch up with you.

93 octane gas isn't any better or worse than 87 octane gas. The difference is 93 is more resistant to detonation.

I don't think there is clean or dirty food, It's more like healthy VS lower quality foods.
I've bulked up on healthy complex carbs, proteins and low fats in general and had some great size put on me back in the day, but it was much easier when my cals were around 4000 MAX. Now it's 5400 and it's so much harder to hit them eating healthy, most foods tend to be very dense and digest slow with low cal ratios, so I switched over to TV dinners ect.. fast food ect..

I will admit I gained a fair amount of fat doing so, but muscle too. However, next bulk I'm thinking for the first time to do moderate complex carbs and MORE healthy fats to avast the majority of my cals.

In my personal experience, the more I reduced my intake of refined sugar and complex carbs—grains, starches, etc—the better I’ve felt and performed. (The same can probably be said for alcohol, but damn if I’m not going to have a couple of pints here and there.)

It’s suprisingly easy to do or not do. Basically, everything in the grocery isles isn’t food. Everything in the meat, dairy (to a fault), and produce section is. This is my strategy, anyway.

Chicken and rice—if you’ll have the rice—doesn’t have to be bland. There are a LOT of ways to season food for exceptional flavor that don’t deplete or counter its nutritional value.

I honestly believe there are better things to have than pop tarts, and not to cast judgement, but I think a pop tart is a lazy way to get calories. There’s a time and place for laziness, but it should be the exception rather than the rule when eating. Or, at least front load your effort into researching good pre-packaged foods so you can be lazy in bulk later, like a big bag of pre-hard-boiled eggs, for instance.

This is pure blasphemy. Poptarts are the best, most anabolic intraworkout snack anyone can ever have.

Like with anything new the pendulum swings.

Fortunately we're starting to come full circle with nutrition. There is no IIFYM Vs Clean eating, the comparison is irrelevant.

What's better is finding something you can stick to 90% of the time, while still allowing you to reach your physique goals with a good level of health.

Well fuck me today I woke up and decided to have a cheat day. I woke up at 2:30 am to get it started. So far I have had 6 Kodiak super food whole wheat pancakes with organic agave pancake syrup and a tablespoon of kerry gold irish butter. Bowl of Cream of wheat with a scoop of select peanut butter cookie whey, and Nuts n More white chocolate peanut butter with ground roasted cinnamon. A bowl of Ezekiel Cinnamon raisin cereal and then I had one of their english muffins with peanut butter and organic jam along with a cup and a half of egg whites. Then I had half a pint of Halo Top Cookies and Cream ice cream. Then when I arrived at the gym I had a chocolate chip muffin. Post workout was a handful of red raspberry gummies and of course more protein. Then after that I stopped at Dunkin Donuts and had 3 glazed donuts. Then just now I went to the store and picked up some candy bar flavored Halo Top, ate the whole pint and treated myself to some Peanut Butter and Jelly limited edition oreos and Two Cheeseburgers made all the way from Five Guys with cajun fries.

I need to stop watching those Juan Morel cheat day videos! lol

Jesus Christ. That just sounds sickening to me. If you did if it fits your macros you could have a couple of these cheat day items every day with no problem.
