major weightloss

thank you alll!!!!!!!!!!

hey bros,

Sorry I haven't responded lately. I appriciate all the help, and information. Hey a smart ass telling me im fat, isn't hurting my feelings, its like satire. Its for the best. Monday I am starting a diet. I have decided to start by having a 5 day menu with 1800 calories a day. 2 days to cheat at first, until i no longer want to eat garbage foods, or drink soda. As far as excercise what kind of schedule should i set up? at my house I have a treadmill, a gazelle its like an 'elyptical machine'(spl) , and a bike. and a back yard that 12 laps will equal about a mile or so. The main reason i don't want to excersize really is it bores me, is there anything I can do to make it more interesting? or is there a more exciting work out? Like i hate lifting legs so that day i either lift half assed, or it takes me forever because i dick around half the time insted of just lifting. but on back day i can't wait to get to the gym to lift..

as far as using a drug to aid me in the weight loss, I really would like to just have the extra edge. I do want to do it safely however. Does anyone know of any books, newsletters, web sites, specific posts? or any where i can get valid information about clen, t3, and ESPECIALLY DNP, and ECA stack. I know a small amount about clen and t3, and absolutly nothing about dnp, and eca. Thanks guys. I'll let you know how the diet is going etc.

I only brushed through that right quickly because I have to run, but I think the 1800 might be a little too low. I'll re-read it later and try and be more thorough.

well today i consumed 1670 calories. and i wasn't hungry or anything so as long as i can survive this way, like im not jeoperdizing my life or anything i can deffinitly stick to 1800 calories. I did 45min of rowing (is rowing a good source of cardio, or should i do something else?) and i lifted chest/arms.
Also I weighed myself and I'm 322 I over guessed my weight.

Too Low

Blur....

I think you are doing way too few calories. Based on your weight you are going to put your body into a starvation mode which will limit the amount of weight you can lose. I would probably up that a bit to around 2,200.

The most important thing for you is what you eat and when. You need to be eating 6 times a day. Breakfast, Snack, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, Snack.

Your Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner should all be a combination of equal amounts of carbs and protein. Stay away from glycemic carbs like sugar or sweet fruits....go for potatoes or long grain rice. The snack should be something like a protein bar or a Muscletech protein shake.

For your weight you should drink at least 2 gallons of water a day. I know that seems like an enormous amount, but it is possible and it is VITAL.

Do this for 3 weeks and let us know where you are at. DNP may be something for you to look into, and I only say that because at your weight cardio is going to be a little hard. While I may be blasted for telling you this....I do think there is some scientific evidence which backs me up. Research shows that for clinically obese patients a regimen of DNP actually helped them lose tremendous amounts of fat without comprimising their position in the diabetic area. Do a little search on the internet and you should find the research study. However, you will need to be EXTREMELY careful if you do deside to take DNP.

Let us know.

Kemo

Well, looks like Kemo more or less got to it before me. He's pretty right on with his suggestions. But, really bro, you played ball. You know what's up. What did you do during the season? Do it again. Simple.

Kemo- I'll have to disagree with cardio being hard. He's obviously an athletic fat guy. I was 294 today and I hit cardio twice and spent 20 minutes hitting the heavy bag until I broke the chain. Damn I have a powerful cross!!! (True story, but I'm sure it had at least a little to do with the chain being old)

Sometimes I'm not sure that easing into it is the way to go. Especially for an ex athlete. I'm sure his coaches didn't say "Well, you fat, outta shape, alcoholic motherfuckers! Because you didn't do your summer conditioning, we're going to have light practice for 4 weeks." Rather, he said "Get to runnin' fat boys!"

Grizzly-My coaches certainly didn't give us a break on any form of running..and i never ever had it easy i honestly don't know how i made it thru any of it, especially conditioning. I think it was the thought that one day the coach would stand at the bottom of the hill we ran up, and i could use my momentum to kill him. but that never came true...any how.

I never knew i would go into a starvation mode. I normally only eat 1-2 meals a day. Nothing reallllly big, but i think its mainly from soda, I drank soooooo mcuh soda. I only drink a can of diet soda a day now, and the rest is all water, so that should stop all the problems there. I have a hard time following a diet where i have to eat even 3 times a day, let alone 6. I am to busy with school, and work, to actually stop and have a meal. I eat when i wake up, when i get home, and thats it. I really am busy, I'm practicly never ever home between going to school in the day, and going to work at night on week days, and trying to study, and keep up on paper work etc. right now I'm still on vacation from school so I have alot of free time. I'm afraid I won't lose weight if i go over 2,000 calories. Isn't 2000 what we need to like maintain current weight? That was why I chose 1800, I couldn't be taking in any more then 2,500-3,000 from food. from soda i could have been taking in around 2,000 alone. At this point in the game I really don't wanna be fat any more. I always was chubby, but im not a small built person, I'm built to play football, as a lineman, or if i could get the fat out, a line backer. but i don't wanna even lose this mad extra weight i picked up, i want to get lower then i ever was (as far as bf%) And I have to do it soon. Alot of this has to do with the fact that its effecting my outlook on life, and as a psychology major I know its mind over matter..and fat is just a problem, which can be solved so I'm not in danger of anything bad happening. I just don't have confid ence in myself right now, I feel like it doesn't matter about anything at all. And i know once I get the weight loss rollin, I'll feel alot better. I felt great this afternoon when i just got done lifting, eating healthier, and doing cardio. i already felt alot better about my self, and everything. I really miss an ex girlfriend of mine that i fucked up real bad with when i was "mr. football player" and i took her for granted, and now I wanna get back with her, and i can't even get her attention, mainly because I was an incredible asshole to her, but I would feel alot better about trying to get back with her if i wasn't a fat ass. And I can't stand being with out her any more, which is making me want to lose weight more and more. I have so many reasons to push, and get this done, so I hope I can stick with it, and see results in the near future.

Kemo-I'm going to research DNP as much as I can. From what I see on here it seems as if its the most effective, and coincidentally the most dangerous(?). Im nervous about even using any drug to get this process rolling, but I'm so sick of being fat ,like it makes me sick actually...and i don't even wanna be myself right now. So I gotta get the fat burning.

I want to thank everyone for all the advice, comments, and help. especially grizzly, and kemo.

btw if anyone has good advice about how to get someone who hates u to want to get back together with you, I am looking for that as well. haha

blurry, it definitely is mind over matter. listen to these guys - only thing i'd stress is that you have to find a way to eat more often. you will need to increase the frequency of meals to at very least 4 per day, and make sure you eat clean. just keep doing it every day, even if you feel like shit, and the reward will come. it will get easier.

as for the chick you want back, sorry bro. no answers here. i can however tell you what not to do - don't show up at her house at 4am with an attitude and an empty liter of jack. "a friend of mine" tried that once and surprisingly she didn't take him back. heh heh good luck bro, mind over matter. please check in and let us know about your progress.

Blurry,
Bro it's real simple to do what you are asking for. It just takes a little time and a little effort. Most people(like yourself) want everything to happen overnight and it just ain't going to happen. Here is what I do.

1. I take pictures of myself about once a month so I can judges my progress.
2. I put a calender on my fridge so i can plan out my week for meals, workouts, cardio, cheat meals track my wieght weekly ect..ect..
3. Acctually sit down and write down you diet and follow it. Being over 300lbs you definatly need to eat more calories than 1800-2000. Maybe try and go for 4 - 600 calorie meal each day. Not eating enough calories is just going to slow down your metabolism and you fat loss is going to start to slow way down. Once you start to eat cleaner foods and will be excersizing you will find yourself being more hungry all the time. Last but not least you wnat to lose fat at a slow steady pace. If you lose fat to fast all you have left is flabby skin. If you lose a couple #'s per week the skin will be able to shrink with your waistline.
4. I set some goals for motivation for me to stick to my plan.

I may get flamed like a MF for this but you might look into the Body-for-Life program. He basically lays everything out on what you need to do to lose 25-35lbs in a few months.
Hope this helps a bit and just remember you can do this if you really want it an put you mind to it!!

Hi, I'm in need of alot of help from some experts. After last years football season I had some tramatic problems, and put on about 80lbs. I currently weigh 340 and my BF% is around 27%. I would like to get to around 225 or less if possible, and the faster the better (ofcourse). I would like to begin dieting, and excercising and starting to take clen, and cytomel. However from looking around the boards i noticed DNP. and ECA. My knowledge of all four items is very limited to what I've read via the internet. If I could just get info on what is the fastest, most effective weightloss aids. And what doseages etc. I'm not really worried about losing muscle mass right now either. I'd like to just lose all the fat I can as rapidly as humanly(safely) possible. If anyone has an advice on what i should/shouldnt use, what doseages are/aren't safe, and what results i should see. I would appriciate it very much. Thank you all very much in advance.

There is a product called Lepitgen from www.avantlabs.com. It's a great weight-loss product. It's great for people doing crash dieting. I'd check it out.

Don't consider it eating meals. To most most people a meal is some dead animal, a couple spoonfuls of veggies, some milk, bread and maybe some desert or something. Don't think of a meal like that.

Instead, wake up, eat a good breakfast like you do now.(as to whether it's good, I don't know, I'm just assuming). Then, during the day eat a can or two of tuna every couple of hours. It's gross but easy. Or put some chicken in a bag and eat that. Whatever you like that's quick and easy, not to mention transportable.

When you get home, eat a good dinner. That's all you have to do. Think of it this way. The more you eat, the faster and better your metabolism is. If that doesn't motivate you, then I don't know what will.

Oh yeah, and between classes is an excellent time to suck down some food.

I never really thought of just eating some tuna as a meal. That could be real easy because it doesn't have to be preped or anything. I could run a good breakfast, and a few snack periods and a good dinner. That shouldn't be hard to follow.

I'm deffinitly going to take a few pics tonight, so i can see how fat i am now, and how less fat i am next month, and so on, and so forth.

I've gotta develope a good system of keeping track of what I'm doing, I'm generally sloppy when it comes to organizing things.

I feel better today then i did yesterday. So eating healthy has actually already begun to effect me mentally. I'm glad I'm getting on the right track here.

If I jog 2 miles and its like 20* outside will i still get the same effect as if i was inside on a treadmill or something?
thanks

leptigen ehhhhh?

Sorry to double post, I just had to say a few more things.
I checked that Avant Labs out, with the Leptigen supplement. And from what I'm reading it doesn't seem like its for me....this is off their Q+A page

"Intake at plus or minus 10% of maintenance provides ripe conditions for LeptiGen to impart benefit because, as has been mentioned, it is not a pure leptin product, but rather an integration of my nutrient repartitioning theories which works on multiple levels. Basically, the only person who should not use LeptiGen is a fat person, on a moderate calorie deficit (Any kind of very low calorie diet should have a doctor's supervision, BTW, though they won't understand the first thing about LeptiGen)."

I don't know alot abot dieting, or supplements related to dieting, so alot of what I'm reading makes little to no sense to me. I feel so feeble minded but I guess its best to ask questions, after all its the only way to learn. I kinda got a kick out of reading the Q +A page here. i never saw a company say fat person haha and they say it a few times LoL.

BTW plain tuna tastes like a bushel of smashed assholes.

From what I've gathered from this site (i could be wrong), its saying I can run a very low calorie intake (such as 1800) if i use the supplement. Or perhaps even lower, they are saying people can run 1000-1500 range safely with full dosage+a little more, Am I correct? Would this be safe for someone of my weight? the don't really give individual specifics.

bushel of smashed assholes.. as dumb as that sounds i had to laugh when i read that. :D

bro what i think grizz is saying is, if you already know how to eat clean, all you need to do is eat with frequency. I recommend getting those bags of salad and mixing a can of tuna in tupperware. add balsamic, some flax seeds, and other things you know will help your cause, and there's your meal between class.. do something like that a few times a day in addition to breakfast and dinner, get your cardio in, drink tons of water, and maybe add an ECA after a few weeks.. you'll be surprised how far that will get you.

peace. crew.

You should make good progress for 4-6 weeks with diet alone. The point when your body slows its metabolism to keep your weight near where it is accustomed to(not where you want it), is when the ECA, cardio, and frequent meals become more crucial. They allow you to break through plateaus and keep steady progress. When you stop losing weight consistantly than hit the ECA and cardio. There will be a time when cardio will be a must for you to get those last pounds off just b/c your body is going to be fighting the weightloss. Pictures are good to track progress. Scales/ weight monitoring is misleading b/c if you are lifting right you should be gaining some muscle mass. So if the scale says you lost 10 pounds in a month lets hope you lost 15 pounds of fat and gained 5lbs of muscle for example

Man, I wish the old board was still up so I could just search for this. Anyhow, I'll tell you what I did. I was always fat in my younger years. I was an athletic fat guy(offensive/defensive line and hwt wrestler) but I was a fat guy none the less. As a junior in HS I made it up to 330. Dropped down to 265 by the end of senior year wrestling season.

Then, I got a girlfriend who liked to eat and went away to college. Back to 305. Around February or March of my freshman year I decided to do something about it. Knocked off the candy and shit, re-dedicated myself to lifting(including squatting and legs in general) and started to eat healthier. Because I was at school for the first couple of months it was sandwhiches and milk, mostly. Some cereal and shit. I think I made it home at about 290.(this was 6 years ago so the memory is starting to fade)

After getting home I kicked the shit into high gear. Over the summer I went from 290 to 250. In retrospect, my diet and training were quite flawed from my current knowledge, but it worked.

Each day I would eat the following, more or less:

Big bowl of cereal and some milk

Two turkey sandwhiches on wheat, two banannas or some clementines and some goldfish crackers

A pre-workout snack

Pheasant or chicken stir-fry or ramen noodles

Some days I would have a little bit of icecream later at night.

Training:

Monday and Thursday: Chest and Back

Tuesday and Friday: Legs and Arms

Saturday: Whatever I felt like repeating(mon/thurs or tues/fri) Many times I would just squat set after set after set after set

I didn't do a second, not one single fucking second, of cardio the entire time. I also employed and ECA(ripped fuel to be specific) from about 280-250

As you can see, it's simply about eating healthy and exercising. Fancy diets and shit are not needed.

Let me know if you want to know specifics about the workouts. They were fucking brutal and definitely constituted overtraining, but I got stronger, bigger and leaner the whole time so I didn't care or even really know the difference.

edit- oh yeah, it helps if you do all of your thinking with your dick. Just keep thinking that once you get down to a certain leaness that you can then start nailing all of the hotties that you have always wanted to. It also helps if you pick out a specific one to keep you motivated.

Lepitgen is really good for crash dieting or for people that have been dieting for awhile. It is supposed to keep your Leptin levels normal while dieting to prevent the "Starvation effect".

Check it out on the Avant's message board. Par Deus is the creator, Dante, Twin Peak and Tkradde work for Avant so they can give you great help.

Also on the Avant Labs web-page there is their online magazine Mind & Muscle that has a bunch of great write ups.

real bad news, i lost my student ID some where yesterday when i was at the gym at my school (i think that was where i lost it) and I've been going to school/lifting alot there since september. And today i went and the son of a bitches won't let me in with out my id, like they haven't seen me everyday, so i had to order a new id, and it won't be mailed for a week or 2. so im stuck lifting at my house and all I have is 2 bars, a bench, dumbells, a speed bag, and a heavy bag. So from this I have to develope a work out. I am not a fan of lifting everything with free weights, I was getting really spoiled with the "freemotion" machines. People have already been telling me I look slimmer in my face etc.

Grizzly-im interested in hearing more about the lifting schedule you we're using. It seems to have worked for you.

Thinking with my dick is what i do best, or did when i was under 300. I got my sights set on getting my ex back. its my current motivation, but first I have set up a series of goals....slamming all her friends first so she hears about what shes missing. And when she remembers I'm the king and all her friends are hooked, she'll be back. but i gotta get back to at least how i looked before in order to tap her friends. haha

I guess I'm gonna go do some lifting in my mini gym in my garage. take it easy bros.
