but for the subscription to be worth it, you also need to be active around the forum.

Look up VeraCryp, if your house gets searched they will take away you Drives, but if you encrypt them with VeraCryp you are absolutely safe.
When it comes to your phone it depends, I always reccoment to use a Google Pixel 6-10 and install GrapheneOS.
First of all the software the forensic uses to get into your device won´t work, second of all you can set a additional Pin next to your normal one that will delete all eSim Cards and make your Phone/Date completely useless by encrypting it. Usually you will be asked to unlock the phone for them, so you will have a chance to destroy evidence even when you dont have direct acces to your phone when they come.

Sort of off topic, but what would you use for cloud storage in case all your drives and phones get seized? And how would use your cloud storage - just dump raw files or zip them up / encrypt before uploading?

I know it's not ideal, but it would be a headache if police decided to hold onto everything for years, possibly never giving it back or giving it back dead.

Also, I'd like to make sure I back up and factory reset devices if I ever go to places like the US, Australia or other high-risk countries (high risk for your phone getting imaged by border agents or you getting deported for not providing all your data lol).
