There's so many things wrong with this article. [:o)][:o)][:o)]

I was bored and searched supersets on Google after a kid at the gym today basically prescribed them to his friend group if they "ever wanna get yoked" and I've found a lot of hilariously bad articles, but this was probably my favorite! Strong unawares...

I think the writer even said at one point you have to "switch strength workouts ever 4 weeks to avoid plateaus" WHAT
 
I superset pullups with pushups ..

I did just start hip thrusts super with crunches..

This is all to save time and keep my blood pumping...
Mostly to get workout over fast and my abs never
Looked so good until I started the back to back pull ups pushups ...

I can't go heavy with lower reps..
I just don't get what I want from this workout,
So I train every day same exercises then maybe take 1 to 2 days off ...

Just like a prisoner in solitary ..
My muscles are solid, I am faster, and I can bench 280 instead of 315 if I was going heavy... Big deal .. With the speed comes the power and
My hands are much faster with more muscle to fat ratio ..

AND my joints don't need time to recover like with heavy weight...

I am not against heavy weight lifting..
Everyone likes different things...

The number one problem with not making gains
Is not being consistent...
If you aren't confident,. Not liking your workout or
Trust it, then your not going to stick with it...

Persistence ....
Don't listen to what works for others..
Pick what fits into your schedule and stick with it...

It all works for something, so test it so you know...

BTW, I like younger women, and they like abs :D
 
My skin looks like its starting
To shrink seal around my abs... Nice veins
And I barely touch abs....

It's the pushups acting like planks and maybe the pull ups
And hanging monkey bicep things I do.. Don't even ask lol
 
I like using them for arms and sometimes shoulders. I have tried them for chest and back, but when I'm through with a back set I feel like puking.
They work best when I running a cutting cycle.

I agree that they are good for arms... Curls and Skull crusher super sets really get your arms pumped...
 
I agree with Manwhore, consistency is one of the main contributors to making gains, and if you add consistency to your diet and recovery as well, you will have a potent combination.

I shit you not one of the personal trainers at a gym I used to go to listed his training philosophy as "I firmly believe in the idea of confusing the muscles to avoid plateaus and maximize strength gains."
 
I sometimes use supersets to work a particular head of neighboring muscle groups to try to get deeperd seperation. Such as shoulder and upper tricep head,shoulder upper biceps head,shoulder outer/upper chest. It seemed to work although not really sure it was from that particular training technique or a mix of couple others i tried.
