Well, there are two types of people. Some are prone to male pattern baldness, and others who are not. Are you? So far I am not.

@Ghoul can take it from here. He has a plan for you if you are. There are several threads you can search for where this has been discussed in detail.

Also, why the enclomiphene with test? Also why an AI? Have you had E2 issues in the past?

Yes I am prone to male baldness and i heard you can use enclomiphene as pct, I heard it’s the same as clomiphene but without the side effects and ai is because I am 100% sure my e2 will skyrocket without a ai

Oh, so enclomiphene is after you complete this cycle, not during. Got it. And you are correct. It’s best to have an AI on hand if your E2 gets out of range.

Finasteride microdose and oral minoxidil will protect hair indefinitely for the vast majority of men.

If after 6 months you're losing ground, you can still recover by boosting 5-AR inhibitor dose (fin, or switching to dutasteride if you're really losing hair fast), but that's not necessary for most,

It's really that simple. If you are willing to do more, 2% Ketoconozole shampoo left on for 5 mins twice a week will help. Once a week dose of Ivermectin .2mg/kg for 8-10 weeks can help (once every few years). The rest, micro-needling, laser caps, don't amount to much and not worth the effort.

Really the Fin/Oral minoxidil combo, consistently (don't forget there's an early shed cycle before things improve for both compounds), will do 98% of the work of protecting your hairline,

Don't forget, hair shed is not hair loss. that's part of the hair growth cycle. Hair loss is the slow thinning of the hair shaft with each regrowth until it disappears.

I heard someone say a DHT like primo or mast is not as bad as endogenous DHT, when it comes to hair loss. The natural DHT that got converted from testosterone is harder on your hair. So using less test in favor of some primo could be less net damage on your scalp?

what do you think about that?

I picked dutasteride over finasteride and take 0.25mg every 5 days. Ghoul mentioned dutasteride might be better than finasteride for preventing hairloss. That plus topical minoxidil got me to stop shedding when I ran test/mast/tren/anavar. I'm not prone to mpb or hairloss on many compounds but that stack did it. I'll probably switch to oral minoxidil when I run out of topical.

The only thing I don't write understand is why you shouldn't take duta/fin with nandrolone. I've read the reasoning from several people but then you have every user report saying when they used fin/duta with nandrolone they had no issues with hairloss. So the science says one thing but all the user reports say another

Honestly, I spent years doing a deep dive into the scientific minutiae of the entire known body of hair loss science, treatments, surgery, etc. (like many men in a panic over hair loss).

While I keep an eye on the latest developments (ivermectin is the latest, related to demodex mites and the inflammatory role they play in accelerating mbp), it's clear that Fin or Dut, at a tolerable microdose (being careful to avoid DHT crash trauma which is what underlies "post finasteride syndrome") and oral minoxidil are almost all that's necessary. Other things may help a little, but those two pills a day will keep a thick head of hair indefinitely for most men. One key is keeping things simple enough the protocol can be easily maintained. The more shit someone has to do, the less likely the man is to comply and drop off. Consistency is the key, and two small tabs, dosed correctly to avoid sides, is all you really need in most cases.

you could also just volumetrically dose the topical minoxidil, that's what I did with no adverse effects.

I don’t know if this is a good indication but my DHT levels were very high (125) on pure test and after several months on 200-400mg Primo it dropped to 49. It’s even within normal range right now which is odd. Let’s see what 300-400mg weekly of Mast will do. I’m two weeks in and will retest in 4 weeks.

I will never understand the reason why a DHT derivative (therefore already alpha reduced) scares you more than simple testosterone for your hair:
ALL synthetic steroids derived from testosterone have been modified in order to reduce its androgenic side effects (masteron was invented to treat metastatic breast cancer INSTEAD of the much more androgenic testosterone)....
I just can't understand your stupid BRO-science.....
But have you ever wondered why they invented anabolic steroids instead of testosterone?????
They are DHT DERIVATIVES, they are not DHT:
but why do you think female bodybuilders use primo masteron anavar which are ONLY dht derivatives and do not make testosterone?

Topical minoxidil is too dependent on the availability of the enzyme to convert it to its active form. In some men it's not present at all. Low dose oral, literally an "infant dose" of that 1960's blood pressure med is so simple, cheap, and highly effective,

Of course it does not prevent miniaturization, it buys more time by improving the function of the hair follicle, but does nothing to prevent DHT from hacking away at hair producing, irreplaceable stem cells.

yeah I literally meant I diluted my topical minoxidil with water, so I could take 1ml orally which was like 2mg IIRC. It's a lot cheaper than oral minox in my country.

Crazy how expensive and difficult it is to get in the EU.

$35 for a full years supply in the US, without insurance. $20 telemedicine call for the prescription.

There are many unknowns in almost all pharmaceuticals in terms of mechanism of action.

It's believed Fin/Dut don't just prevent conversion to DHT, but likely take up residence on the receptors that strip hair stem cells of their "immune privilege", protecting them from attack by your immune system, and the resulting inflammation which is the bonfire that finally kills the stem cells ultimately leading to hair loss.

Ketoconozole helps because it cools this inflammatory response like a topical ibuprofen. Ivermectin helps because it kills the bacteria laden demodex mites living in everyone's pores, feasting on skin oil and dead cells, and don't have an anus, When they die every 14 days or so they decompose dumping all their shit in your follicle, fueling the fire of inflammation just where you don't want it.

Oh hey did you come up with an ivermectin dosing protocol? I grabbed a bunch mostly for my dogs bc it's much cheaper than going through a vet for heartworm meds but I figured I should try your protocol too. I think you said it was going to be only once per year for a few days?

I started using nizoral a few times a week when I started shredding on that cycle and I instantly noticed my hair feels so much better and fuller now. My wife decided to try it and noticed the same. I don't know if that's strictly due to the ketoconozole but it's a good product for sure

My doc just prescribed me nandrolone 120mg/week for my knee pain so I guess I'm about to test this out first hand

Anti demodex protocol is .2mg/kg, once a week, for 8 weeks. That's 18mg per dose for me. I just went with 24mg(2x12mg tabs), for 10 weeks, because that's still a tiny dose compared to protocols for other purposes, well within the safe dose range, and I figured I'd finish off the two strips I had.

Cleared numerous tiny non-acne pimples, skin tone evened, and generally improved in condition.

Don't forget if you have a partner, and they don't do it as well, you'll pick up the parasites from them again once you stop.

Yes I heard something like nizoral shampoo is like a scalp dht blocker

I thought that too when I started using it. There's no evidence it does anything for DHT, but it does cut down on inflammation.

All your cells are protected by "immune privilege", like an identity badge that tells the immune system to leave that cell alone. Without it, it'll be attacked and destroyed by the immune system as an invader. Part of that process of destruction is inflammation.

The way hair stem cells are killed is;

DHT attaches to receptors on the hair follicle triggering a process that removes "immune privilege".

The immune system attacks the follicle. Inflammation destroys the stem cells.

Ketoconozole lowers inflammation in the scalp both indirectly, by killing off fungi and some parasites that increase inflammation, but also directly via a not entirely understood mechanism,

This helps protect the stem cells from inflammation induced damage, even after they've lost immune privilege.
