McDonald's May Drop Health Insurance: Report

I just saw my premiums go up. Imagine my surprise! I thought Obama promised me this would be cheaper.

I'm shocked - shocked I say - that a politician would lie.

A few insider friends of mine are telling me this is just the tip of the iceberg. When companies figure out it will be cheaper to pay the fine than insure their employees guess what the trend will suddenly become?

Change you can believe in.

November can't come soon enough I'm licking my lips over 2012.

Ah, this is where things get really interesting. It goes to the heart of bureaucracy and government jobs. If you pay a government employee 60,000 and tax them at 20,000 that is a net loss of 40,000. The government uses your tax dollars to pay for its employees. The government cannot create wealth no matter how much Obama would want you to believe it.

Not take a private sector employee making 60,000 and paying 20,000 in taxes (just numbers I pulled out the air). The net to the government is 20,000 for a total difference of 20,000+40,000=60,000 dollars. Not use Google to see how many government jobs exist today and how well they are paid and you will begin to see why we are heading the direction of Greece, Spain, Portugal, and Iceland.

So where does the dollar go? Into a very deep, dark hole of inefficiency.
