51 year old male, 1st year of TRT, currently on 150mg of test e, 50mg m/w/f, 250iu of HCG m/w/f
Had a blood test 27/12/23 and my e2 was over range at 202pmol nothing crazy but I wasnt feeling myself and wanted to lower it, I over did it with the AI, had another blood test on the 10/01/24 and my e2 dropped to 59pmol, I should of stopped the AI then but instead I lowered it instead, (mistake, I know) hoping to keep the e2 at a stable level, it didn’t work and I crashed my e2, I felt even worse than before, so I dropped the AI and increased the test to 210 for 1 week, I added 20mg of nolva cause I aromatise easy and my nips really feel it and I started to feel a lot better. So much much so I added 20mg of primo m/w/f as an AI and dropped the Nolva, hoping to go long into spring, I dropped the nolva and started the primo on the 2/2/24
My usually blood testing increased their prices by over £50, so I decided to try Medichecks for the 1st time, did the test on the 3/2/24, according to medichecks my test went from
47nmol to 106,
e2 went from 59pmol to 273,
Free test went from 1.113nmol to 2.81
Free androgen index went from 114.9% to 222
everything has more than doubled, I don’t understand how everything has shot up so much the only addition was 100mg of dhea, as my dhea suphate is always low and wanted to see if it made any difference, it did as my dhea sulphate went from 2.56umol to 13.1, the quick increase cant be due to the dhea can it? Just in case I dropped the dhea straight way.
After scratching my head I figured that there had to be something wrong with the medichecks blood test so I bit the bullet and paid the extra and got another blood from my usual place and 3 days after dropping the dhea my
test is 53nmol
e2 142pmol
Free test 1.187nmol
Free androgen 107%
Can the dhea be the culprit or should I be getting on the medichecks and complain about a dodgy test?
Does using and dropping dhea double the effect of trt so quickly or am I missing something?
