Killer Joe (2011)

Solid 8/10 film

I had never heard of this one, watched and it was very good, if you are a sexual deviant you will love it.

The director is William Friedkin. You might know him by some of his other films:

The French Connection (1971)
The Exorcist (1973)
To Live and Die in L.A. (1985)
Blue Chips (1994)
Rules of Engagement (2000)
The Hunted (2003)
And my next review I have no doubt most of you never heard about or saw.

A great movie that I was reminded of earlier is The Departed. Great cast and a really well done movie.

Claustrophobic, disturbing, savagely mentally disturbing film, and I loved it.

Staring crazy hot Ashley Judd, in probably her best acting role to date.
Also staring Michael Shannon, from Board Walk Empire,Take Shelter (2011) another amazing film, Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007) and many other great films and TV work.

It's really good. It's funny, lots of action, epic gunfights. Worth a watch for sure.

Anyone else watch Agents of Shield? They bust out Ghostrider last week (not the wack ass Nic Cage one). Ghostrider is up there with the Punisher, Batman, and Colossus as my favorites.

The only one in that list that I might be interested in is Jacobs Ladder, even though the original still stands up.

Watched https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/cash_only/ on netflix the other day. Its pretty solid, and the climax gets real fucked up, real quick. Give it a solid 7.5, mainly cause I wasnt expecting much.

Im pretty interested in Big Trouble in Little China. I loved the first one, but it was a little corny. With updated effects it could be awesome. Also the Rock cant do wrong.

True. Thats a classic like godfather or gone with the wind. Even if you werent fans of the original its hard to touch.
