Meso Movie Reviews

@Perrin Aybara did you watch Daredevil? That show was great. You dont have to see it to watch this, but theres a few characters that pop up. Luke Cage is like real life superhero stuff. Its in the Marvel Universe so they acknowledge the movies, but totally different. Its like heroes if heroes didnt suck (at the end)

No, haven't ever seen it. My girlfriend is actually bigger into superhero stuff than I am. I just told her what you said and she said she knew that part, but hasn't seen it either. She says we're going to watch that at some point, too.

You'll like it. Its not super heroey at all. No costumes, no craziness. Its real easy to get in to.

Fucking A Finally a decent flick. The Infiltrator

They had Barry Seal's killing in the movie. Barry Seal flew tons of coke into Mena, AK under the watch of Governor Bill Clinton.

There's actually a movie coming out about him and Tom Cruise is Barry. Its called American Made. It won't be out until Sept 2017.

Anyway The Infiltrator is long and kinda slow in some parts, but still a pretty good movie. Mr. White is smooth!!

If you liked this, you should check out Tinker, tailor, soldier, spy Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

Its a slow burn, spy movie set in the cold war. My GF thought it was boring but Ive watched it twice. On netflix.

Like an Avengers type thing? I'm just getting back into it with her.

Like Jay said, pretty much exactly like the movies. They intro the characters in their own series, and them will blend them ala Avengers.
But also like he said, its not overly super hero-esque, more everday people find themselves thrust into the position.

One thing I love about the Marvel netflix series is you get to know the characters. Even the supporting ones. The also flesh out the bad guys. You get to know them, know their motivation, and even like em a little.

Yep. Donofrio played such an awesome villian in DD, but he wasnt a cheesy over the top comic style villain (havent watched S2).
And the guy in JJ was on point too. I didnt like him, but he was more "realistic" than your average super villian.

Man you got to watch season 2 of DD. It was epic. Beranthal played an awesome Punisher. Redeemed all the sorry movies. Him and KingPin were great.

I honestly kinda forgot about it. Me and my gf watched Stanger Things and The Night Of, then footbalk season hit, etc etc.

I'm old so I don't have a marathon in me but the wife and I just finished ep1 of cage and we'll be staying with it.

Magnificent Seven. It was entertaining. Definitely no real plot to keep up with but a lot of action. Any movie that has the good guys in a last Stand situation gives me wood so it was worth the price of admission.
