I'll see if Jano responds. Regardless, I will start working out how to engage with a contract lab, what their constraints are, and if they need a legit entity with documentation to order. Also will determine the cost per assay (Nb2-11 cell assay for GH bioactivity determination).

ATM, I've got "premium" UG GH billed from a Chinese GMP as well as standard "generic" UG GH I can contribute in addition to my monetary pledge.

He pulled this NMR shit as a form of evidence that we are incorrect. He says he knows where people test it but can't even give ideas on where to get it done.

The only potential flaw with the Nb2 cell line assay was covered in the RGA paper I posted. However, it's still accepted as a valid in-vitro assay for GH bioactivity as I understand it. PLEASE someone correct me if that is wrong.

Bioactivity of rhGH is mediated through the prolactin receptor rather than GHR

Does not completely represent the mechanism of action of rhGH, low specificity and time-consuming; Nb2-11 cells are dependent on imports–

But he has a fear of being wrong. He is that person that does not grow from learning from his own mistakes/failures.

I know I'm argumentative/debating online but this type of action speeds up information being thrown around and increases learning/understanding.

I used to spend a lot of time on bodybuilding.com on this reviewing nutrition, lifestyle changes, etc.


I love this stuff because it facilitates learning if you are right or not.

Correct about what? The structure of UG vs Pharma?

As I understand it, we are moving forward with bioactivity test. If the UG samples comes back poorly, we won't know why. That is why I was pitching CD along with the bioactivity. However, I agree with the feedback to just do the bioactivity assay. If it comes back good we don't need the CD/structure analysis, although that would be funny if the structure came back different between UG and Pharma yet the bioactivity between them was equivalent statistically. TBD down the road maybe.

This is your show man, but you may find this useful. In discussion with the guys that handled the Tirz NMR analysis, they offered CD as an option for rHGH that would capture defects they thought likely in UGL rHGH, but be cost effective enough for routine analysis. (unlike NMR)

I get your point. That's where the serum GH test 3 hours after 10 IU IM injection is useful as agreed upon blood test to do.

In vitro bioassay would just be another confirmation. I have no idea if UG GH can pop as a false positive on the serum GH sandwich immunoassay.

Antibodies typically undergo a validation process to prevent this

The point seems to be more personal curiosity than harm reduction

We have Jano testing, the quick & dirty serum GH test, and IGF1 (which is really only good if IGF1 increases; no change in IGF1 doesn't mean it's bad GH)
