MF's Test Prop - 10 week Log

You have gained 15lbs and increased lifts by 20lbs .... Do you feel this was good progress ?

IMO you should be stronger .... my morning BW was 148.5! Yes u read correct and today i did DL's 295*5 no struggle.

Have you taken pix or measurements for reference or anything?
How much water do u believe you are holding ?
He is not stronger because, no offense, he was in no way near being strong before gear. I worked for several years to get my squat into the 300's and my deadlift in the 400's. For gear to work properly you have to know your body, which is why when you posted this thread I stated that you were not ready. This is proof, you do not know how to train at all, period. Start linear progression now. Drop everything that your doing and do that, learn how to clean and jerk and snatch and use compound lifts to judge your overall strength. If I can clean 285 but I can only jerk 240 than I know I need to work on upper chest and upper body strength. Just more advice that you will ignore.

How tall are you? Because if you're 5'2 148 thats very different from being 5'10 148, know what I mean? But anyway why do you think my strength isn't going up as fast as it should? My squat is up 40lbs, but my bench press/deadlift is going up much more slowly. Where do you think I should be right now? I was told a lot to be realistic in my goals and that most people don't go up by more than 40-50lbs on their major lifts by the end of cycle, so my progress didn't strike me as all that out of the ordinary :/ I also think its important to point out that I have been dumbbell pressing instead of benching a majority of the time, and thats gone up more significantly.

And yea I did take measurements, and I take progress pics pretty much every day. my arms, chest, legs and calves have all increased in size by a good amount, but my legs are increasing in size way faster than anything else.

I'd have been more than happy to listen to you and have a civil discussion if you hadn't started throwing around "little boy" and "fucking idiot" and shit like that, I'm not interested in a pissing contest on a steroid forum and it's hard to take advice from anyone who discredits themselves by acting immature. If you want to talk normally, awesome. I'm more than happy to listen.

That being said, linear progression/progressive overload is EXACTLY how I train and have always trained. Deadlifting, squatting and benching ARE compound movements and are the only major lifts that a lot of people do, you don't need to buy into crossfit and learn to clean and jerk and snatch to put on incredible size and strength, unless that's your thing and you choose to do that, which is fine. But don't try to tell me you have to learn those things, because you most certainly don't and I think you know that. Also, I have gotten stronger, my squat is up 40lbs. But my bench and deadlift, yeah they aren't going up as fast as I'd thought they would.

I think you're right in saying I should have waited, I think it's best to wait until you have hit some kind of natural peak before you start needing AAS. But I did it, and it's working, and I'm not screwing it up and my body isn't reacting poorly. I'm taking the correct PCT after I get off, and my diet has been perfect. My lifts are lower than most people who start using test, absolutely. But my form is good and my regimen is solid. So I'm still wondering what exactly is going to happen to me that will make this a bad experience??? I'll have gained weight and size and strength much faster than I would have normally. And you and I both know a single cycle of test prop isn't going to ruin my endocrine system and I'm going to be fine, so spare me that rhetoric.

I think your doing quite well atrain - keep at it . If I can gain a solid 5lbs of muscle a cycle Im happy . And a 20lb lift increase is about normal . Great progress .:D

Personally, the only thing im going to say is, I gained roughly 10-13Lbs on my first cycle, that's how much I kept. All of it! My squat went up almost 90 Lbs, 315-405. my bench went up about 55. and my deadlift went up about 55.

Clean and Jerk is not just a crossfit lift. it is an Olympic lift first and foremost. It is also a huge major lift besides the bench, squat, and deadlift.

Do some homework and learn to pass your plateaus before cycling, although that too late. all I can say now, is do some research. you don't get knowledge just from sitting at a computer and reading. yes that's what I do most of the time. but it also comes from experience, which is thru trial and error. not trial and error of using gear.

#1. CandJ and snatch are in no way shape or form crossfit...xfit chooses to use them. Ever seen the Olympics?
#2. Impotence, congrats there is a strong chance that a single cycle at your age will cause this.
Go to graduate school and take developmental biology, it will open you eyes to what development is. You are still developing, until you are 22 you will still be developing. You endocrine system is not going to be the same after this, I am sorry. The bottom line is your cycle of test prop WILL shut you down and at 18 years old this can have profound impacts.

Look I was 18 and I cycled deca I was just like you and thought everyone was being a "Hater". Now I realize the damage I did, I literally went from being a natty easy gainer to being an extreme hard gainer. It had profound impacts on my pysche during PCT. I call you a kid because developmentally you are. I just turned 25 so I may be young still, but trust me when you advance 7 years you will realize just how much of an idiot you are being.

lol I had to google Mark Rippetoe :o

Only the Godfather of most of workouts I have done.

Only the godfather huh, well that's why you must have skipped over him
Bahaha
Yea man.
He has some stuff that definitely works,
But personally I think if you are trained, his programming isn't going to suite you. It's more for newbies

Im 5'9 on a good day :) Been up to 165 but life stress's get ya down every now + then.Im sub 10% bf obv. I have a 'Physique' body if you had to put me into a category. If i was 5'2 i would be DL'ing a hell of a lot more lol 7' less to pull !!
My apologies according to one of your previous post you said squat 215 5*5 upto 235 5*5 but if it's 40 lb's instead well done. Also d'bell v barbell makes a diff difference (imo).
Glad your making gainz though, that's what we all after.

I worded that weirdly, but I meant you don't need to buy into the C&J and snatch OR into crossfit, neither are necessary for getting a great full-body workout. I am assuming you are a crossfitter because you used the term "linear progression" instead of progressive overload, and you preach the NEED to do C&J and snatch, which are both things I have heard COUNTLESS times from crossfitters. also, I think you should read this article and think on it for a little bit.

In the 140's at 5'9??? That's insane dude. Also i think you misinterpreted that, I was saying my end-of-cycle GOAL was to keep a 235 squat, and it is currently at 215. :)

A simple mark rippetoe strength workout has clean and presses lol
And if you don't know who mark rippetoe is...

I definitely know what are considered olympic lifts man haha I meant C&J seperately from crossfit not grouping them togethor, granted I should have worded that differently...
And yea I know who mark rippetoe is I was on starting strength for a few months when I started lifting :D

BTW, Deca and test are VERRRRY different compounds and Deca is way harder to recover from hormonally, so don't preach about how it fucked you up and I'm an idiot because
A. I'm not taking deca
and
B. Im still not taking Deca.
I'm taking testosterone which is not nearly as hard to recover from. In fact, it's usually easier to recover from it at my age than at yours. I also think you probably screwed up PCT somehow if it caused you to lose a testicle like you said in an earlier post. If you haven't already, look into the difference and research 19-nortestosterone.

Which brings us back to my original question: Why is this cycle going to be bad for me in the long run? Why will I regret this?

UPDATE

I had to up my arimidex dosage again. I was originally at .25 EOD and I started noticing high estrogen sides (I couldn't keep a boner half the time and had low sex drive) and I upped to .25 ED but it still didn't do the trick. After looking into it a bit, it seems the best way to go to get myself back in check is to up my dose more significantly for about a week (ive been on .4 ED for the last 3 days) and then drop it slightly lower and maintain there for the remainder of the cycle. A week is typically how long it takes for estrogen levels to normalize after you up an arimidex dosage, so well see what happens!

So you would call your self a safe and responsible teenager. I think I might agree with that minus the fact that you have obtained absolutely no blood work. What I do not agree with is you blatant disregard to the fact that you were genetically very weak and no where near the strength level to even think about AAS. Only time will tell about what will happen to your system. If you think your estrogen is ducked up do not go on how your body feels. Empirical evidence does not work here go get blood work and find out for sure. For whatever reason every time you post something it happens to be at a time when I am angry about something. You are a good conduit for releasing my frustration, deca is actually chemically almost exactly testosterone. It is missing a carbon on the 19th. I was floored when reading about you knowledge of Olympic lifts, I know it is used in cross fit but fuck man. No I do bot do cross fit, I pick things up amd squat with them. C and j is an outstanding way to judge raw strength . Snatch is just a technique lift. You don't seem to know how to train very well still and I am shocked that you think linear progression is cross fit. Strength does not seem to be your goal so I'll back off. Just remember what Arnold said....no gains unless your putting weight over your head.

Yeh man 140's and yet i can squat the same as you + DL more ....no offense intended. Bodyweight means nothing to me,its strength + appearance/illusion that matter. You could look like frank zane but if you cant lift shit i dont give a shit.

Why dont u just do a blood test for E2? faster + less messing around.

if your libido is down it could be that your estrogen is TOO low as well.

Considering how low my arimidex dose was, I seriously doubt it! I would have gotten blood work done in the beginning, but Ive been trying to avoid it because of how expensive it is haha
