more HCG mixing issues

Received my Pregnyl HCG today. Unfortunately the secretary got it wrong, they come as ampoules, not vials. So now Im going to have to source some sterile stoppered vials. I asked several chemists, but none said they could order them. Im in Australia so no use recommending any suppliers from the States for the vials. Although if they ship overseas it may be a last resort. None of the pharmacists I spoke to even know what bacteriostatic water is! So I have some questions:

If I reconstitute my hcg in the ampoule and then transfer it to a sterile vial and make up the volume with BS water is this going to last for the usual 30 60 days in the fridge?

So that I dont have to go through this again, can anyone recommend any brands of hcg that come packaged in stoppered vials.

Are you guys buying use once bottles of BS water (10ml) or larger bottles and storing them in the fridge once opened? Some brand names would be appreciated.

Novarel comes in 5000 or 10,000 IU vials. The "kit" has two vials. One is 10ml with the HCG powder in the bottom. The other is a 30ml vial full of bacteriostatic water.

I would say that as long as you don't contaminate the stuff you should be able to transfer it to a vial and store for 60 days no problem.

As for sources...well, there are lots of places on the net to get em legitimately. Don't know if they ship or not. Also, if the pharmacist doesn't know what bacteriostatic water is I wouldn't trust them to fill my script in the first place!

Oh, also, the water vials do not have to be refrigerated as long as they only contain water.

hmm, I don't think Novarel is available from pharmacies here and importing presription meds is so difficult its not worth doing.

Just ask the phamacist what brands are available to him. Then, you should be able to go on the net and research which ones come in vials.

So is it safe to assume then that everyone on the Swale Protocol is using Novarel? If not, please throw some brand names at me that come in vials so I can check if they are available. Asking the pharmacist is like talking to the police over here. "Why do you want to know?" "What's it for?" then after theyve asked you 50 questions and looked at you as suspiciously as possible they will check some computer and say "I'll need a brand name".

Well, if they're giving you a hard time and trying to put you on the defensive, you could do the same to them by saying, "Don't you know this stuff? You're the pharmacist. You're supposed to know! Did you actually graduate?
