Looking to buy some ethanol online to add to my newbie brew kitchen and am wondering if there’s a preference to buying 190 proof (95% alcohol) or 200 proof (100% alcohol )
Stuff I plan on using the ethanol for:
- experiment with transdermals for test base or test prop ( some simple ingredients like DMSO+ ethanol)
- make various tinctures for raws like var, dutasteride, blood pressure meds , etc
- make home brew hair topicals with dutasteride , minox, RU, and possibly pyralutamide
- home brew TNE suspension. I’ve done it with MCT oil but want to experiment with water /PS80 based solutions for quicker onset.
Appreciate if folks can chime in whether one proof is better or more versatile /easier to cook with than the other , or if they can be used interchangeable without difficulty.
