Far better than the argument of “I’m addicted to water” LOL. Do you feel good coming up with that one? Water, protein and fats are necessary, unlike carbs.

My argument is that the guys from 50 years ago who ate no carbs and are bigger and leaner than you meanwhile you sit here and complain and cope with with “carbs are more anabolic than roids” since you can’t gain muscle while on a gram of gear LOL.


i mentioned carbs effects on insulin and MUR already. I never argued against the fact that carbs are ideal (people like tom platz switched from zero carb to carb diet, which you can see the interview on the same channel i linked) for muscle growth, but to say that no carbs negates gear usage and you can’t gain muscle while not eating them with it is laughable beyond belief and bs. Go tell that to Arnold, tom platz etc LOL. Genuine moron. We definitely evolved in 50 years to the point where it’s now humanly impossible to gain substantial muscle without carbs, didn’t we?

Multiple IFBB pros and coaches use keto periodically. You’ll see that if you head over to professionalmuscle (who are all by the way, bigger and leaner than everyone on this shit forum).

the insulin is not the thing that makes you big full and strong. It is the carbs. The insulin only helps put the carbs in the muscle. Without the carbs, the insulin is just a thing that helps you not atrophy and wither away.

The only path to being full and strong all the time without getting too fat due to overeating calories is high carbs high protein low fat. Not this carnivore chicanery. goddamn circus clowns pushing this bad joke of a diet.

Carbs make you full and strong, protein is needed for ideal muscle gain, as it is the building block every muscle cell is made of. Fat is only needed in small amounts to stay relatively healthy, and it is the easiest macro to overshoot calories on. Thats how you should order your macros. highest to lowest Carbs, Protein, fat.
And dont forget your fiber, which could easily be higher than your fats.

More water/carbs in the muscle->Stronger Person-> more mechanical tension during training-> better gains

I could be super duper lean, but instead i choose to be super watery. Its not like I can see the striations in most of my muscle groups (except abs, glutes & upper parts of the legs) after weeks of getting more than half my daily cals from carbohydrates.

And as @Liter O' Test said, we are on a Bodybuilding harm reduction forum. The shortest path to the most gains is the goal. less time needed to make your gains = less time you need to expose yourself to harmful drugs at high doses. Thats harm reduction.
