Hi All,
I am experimenting with TOPICAL Dutasteride and Nandrolone for Hair Loss prevention. Since, topical Dutasteride has been more widely used in the last two years— there is little to no anecdotal experiences online from people using it while on a Test/Nandrolone cycle.
We know that ORAL Finasteride and Dutasteride is not a good idea to use with Nandrolone as it stops Nandrolone from converting to the more hair safe / less androgenic Dihydronandrolone (DHN) through the 5a reductase mechanism. When on a Testosterone/Nandrolone cycle, the use of oral Fin/Dut would actually make hairloss worse. The other option would be to stop Fin/Dut use and either go on a Nandrolone only cycle or have a higher ratio of Nandrolone:Test so that the 5a Reductase version of Nandrolone occupies majority of hair follicles. We know that these options come with their own potential side effects.
I’m curious to know if using topical Dutasteride has the same effect as oral or can it be used to further prevent hairloss while on a Test & Nandrolone cycle. Since topical Dutasteride would in theory only bind to the 5ar receptors in the hair follicles (high molecular weight means it is less likely to go systemic) that would still allow Nandrolone to convert to Dihydronandrolone in other places in the body.
The topical dutasteride would prevent DHT from binding to the hair follicles and the 5ar reduced DHN would compete for any remaining open hair follicles. I could be totally wrong, this is just a theory. I do want to test this out.
Please share any personal experience or thoughts. They would very helpful and appreciated.
