Nasty Abcess

Pretty gross. This is one of the reasons noobs need to slow the fuck down and not jump on the first source they see without doing some research first.

i'm sure for most of them, it never crosses their mind.
Poor reckless bastards.

Thanks for posting this. Good read!

That’s terrible, although if it were me, I’d have skipped the injections that he did in the hospital, I mean if it was the gear causing the infection, I’d find a new source pronto.
Is it me or do Water based steroids seem to cause more abscesses than oil based?

It’s just you. They are caused by bacteria on the skin getting a ride into the muscle along with the needle. If it was the gear it would happen every time.

Basically we use 70% isopropyl alcohol which kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses within 30 seconds. Do you sterialize for 30 seconds? Probably not. So if you do everything right you can still get an infection. If you don’t allow the alcohol enough time to kill everything the chances go up.

In old bro lore, one should never mix an oil based and water based injection together in the same depot at the same time. Supposedly, the water based depot remains in place longer than it should since it is encapsulated within an oil depot and the body must absorb the oil before the water can be fully absorbed. I have never seen anything confirming this but commonsense says this could be true

He at least got lucky with the location of it I'd say...anywhere else and he probably would've lost a limb/died.

Is it just me or does this guys body look horrible compared to the amount of gear he is taking? 8iu GH daily and multiple AAS yet he has a huge gut and no definition on his back, abs, glutes, etc.

One word, gross. I had one once but treated it myself by draining and antibiotics for a week and a half.
