Yup, I got a med through Push Health (Repatha) because I got tired of arguing with my PCP about doing something for my LDL (we all know the American Cardiovascular Association guidelines are outdated bullshit)...and it's a 6+ month wait to get into a cardiologist.
The first month was approved via Push Health RX and then insurance said they need prior auth form future refills. Push Health said "no problem!" ...but 3 months later and they have pretty much ghosted me and stopped replying to my messages about prior authorization status.
Yeah it's crazy when one of the most valuable health resources you doc can have isn't a piece of high tech diagnostic equipment, but a fully staffed "pre-authorization" department that can get anything through the insurance companies
for you. ,
