Need to loose some bf without killing my growth.

I guess I probably jumped the gun and should have waited until I'd lost some weight before starting my 1st run. This being said, I'm doing 10 min treadmill everyday that I hit weights and the one day each week that I'm off I do an hr. I'm in the gym for no less than 80 min each day and am working my ass off in there. I do my set of whatever, then go to crunches, back to set, crunches etc. I'm not reading, talking on the phone, texting of facebooking. I'm here for a reason, not tk fuck around! I naturally get pretty big and am seeing and feeling results. Today is the beginning of my 3rd week and last night my bro said that he's seeing my work start to pay off. Like all men, this is the shit that feels good. No, not men looking at me, : ) So, @calfcramp is working with me and I am grateful. I just dont want to be counter productive friends. Any help/suggestions will be heeded/appreciated! Thank you all for the support as well as laughter! Meso is the spot!!
 
ketosis or paleo diets when done right will shed fat off you fast and keep your muscle. do not be scared to eat plenty of fat. eating fat does not cause you to store fat. eating excess carbs and putting your body in starvation mode causes you to store fat.

Should have been in the training forum but no worries, Millard will move it, he always moves mine. Since you're on a cycle it will be alot easier to lose fat while continuing to build muscles. Shoot for 1 to 1.5lbs a week of fat loss. Keep it slow and steady and it will be easier to keep your muscle. Don't eat carbs past 6pm and do fasted cardio in the morning to burn your glycogen stores. Doing abs all the time is not going to burn fat off your mid section. Instead do more dynamic full body work outs like squats, lunges, dead lifts. Also look into HIIT cardio, like running stairs or sprints up a hill. Lift heavy my friend.

Fasted cardio did wonders for me this summer, less is more on an empty stomach.I don't know what your goals are but sometimes when I start puffing up I revert to old habits and do some heavy triples. Olympic lifts don't build the mass but they keep my strength up and get my heart pumping, I throw some plyos in there as well one day a week. Sleds, ropes, box jumps...things like that. Diet is king though and cycling carbs or cutting them earlier in the day will make a drastic difference. Limit your salt intake and double your water and let us know how you make out.

Thx Tango! I'm def watching what I'm eating these days abd sweating from wake up to sleep!! : ) btw, I sweat while I sleep as well. Seriously tho, im applying what you all are sharing with me, thx man!!!
 
What are your stats?
This is first run. My profile has all of that, is that what you mean, still new!! If you mean what am I doing in the gym; I get in, 10 min treadmill, fast uphill/walk/run. Go to what ill be doing, pyramidup to the weight that I can rock 10 reps of, 5 sets of 10, then pyramid back down. Btw, stronger every day that Im there. Do 5 different things while jogging, constant movement throughout. I really am trying to burn this shit off bro! I have a bro thats keeping an eye on me, @calfcramp
 
That is very big for that height.. Have you checked your lbm % ?
I know its waaaayyyy to heavy!! This is the heaviest that I've ever been! Last yr when not on I was 203, healthy, def hooded as fuk and felt okay at this weight. I "should" be : ) I havent checked lbm tho. Lame question, how??: (
 
Ask your gym front desk if they can provide the body fat check for you. They usually could. And try to get caliper tested, not the digital device where you simply grip the handles.

the electric one is fine, and will be more accurate then some mouthbreather @ the gym. Just use fasted before workout and massive amounts of fluids, get height triple checked and ACCURATE and it will be close.

Nothing but an autopsy will tell you 100% true BF %.

Thx bro! I know that I'm way over. At start I was 220, today after 28 days on and in the gym, 237.5. Im eating clean, busting my ass in the gym amd am gaining a ton of muscle! Im glad that shit has a good memory! : )
 
HIIT, if you aren't doing it, you should be. Fasted first thing in the morning. Thank me in a few weeks ( if your macros are solid)
 
Ill take a peek now amd get it on tomorrow. I sweat so damn much that I can wring my shirt out repeatedly at the end of workouts. It's pretty nasty good!

I checked. The hitt out bro. It looks cool. when im in the gym I do quick sets, movement in between sets and dont take hardly any time down, breaks. The most time that im breaking is under a min. Yesterday was my first day doing deads due to major backpumps. It was the first day that I was able to do them and still be able to move while working out. Needles to saay im glad ive been working back out, im sore today but could be much worse off. Thx for the support bro!!have a good day!!
