New ED drug set for approval 2019 in UK

This is the next in line of ED drugs

It's a gel based delivery and its main differentiator is that it acts faster than PDE5 inhibitors currently on the market- you may or may not see the delivery mechanism (gel versus tablet) as a value differentiator too - personally I prefer taking a tablet which is much more discrete than rubbing a gel on your d'ck...each to their own I guess

The company also has condoms on the market now with a erection strengthening gel in the condom...wonder if anyone on here has tried them and if any good...certainly worth trying. I would think a gel would probably cause the condom to slip off easier so surely defeats the purpose?

Anyway nice to see more products potentially getting to market in what is a majorly frustratingly slow industry when you suffer from a condition and have to wait years

Yeah you might be right although you could easily put the gel on when reaching for the condom (if thats the case). I think it would look rather odd if you had to go to the toilet before having sex every time with the same person lol. The ED market is worth £5bn so the company is saying if it takes around 20% of this (similar to Viagra) thats worth £1bn and maybe therefore buying shares in the company. The Share price did double recently on the news of favourable phase III clinical trial results. Things move very slow in the pharma industry of course due to the ridiculous regulation. Not sure how long it will work for etc as yet...plenty questions but at least there are potentially more products in the offing...about time sexual health and in particular male sexual health was given some focus by the medical community. I wouldn't say this is the end to all pde5's. Considering you can very likely have a tolerance level or different results depending on the specific active ingredient, more info. Companies know this, thats why they don't market the active ingredient anymore, only the name! Viagra this Cialis that it's all marketing crap.This contains the chemical Zanifil, which won't leave you hard nearly as long as Tadalafil. So they are key disadvantages and advantages to this product. That being said a new competitor is always good! Without challenge these companies will sit on their asses never innovating or attempting to discover something better to edge the competition. That being said I'm really interested in case studies of Zanifil and the potential it has what with it's effects being so rapid and "rigid". Additionally I see so many people day to day with this issue, it really should be a focal point in men's health, and frankly it's frustratingly not.

I don't agree. I think this will be a game changer. Tolerance will not be an issue with this medication and form of delivery as it does not need to go through the liver to work. Hit's your bloodstream direct at location needed. Also, PDE5's don't work for about 50% of men who have ED and the main reason is many have psychological ED. PDE5's do not help much with this. This form of new medication does not even need you to be excited or in the right place mentally to get hard. It's like trimix that is directly injected. You use it and your dick is GOING TO BE hard 5-10 minutes later, like it or not, ready or not, you erection happens. That is a HUGE difference from PDE5's that do not overcome anxiety and worries about getting it up, that cause many men to not get it up. You use it and BAM, you're hard.
