Sent to me in an email, never seen this stamp, searched it and found it has been out for a while, can't imagine it is real popular.

How ironic is this??!! They don't even believe in Christ and they're getting their own Christmas stamp, but don't dream of posting the ten commandments on federal property?

EID MUSLIM holiday season with a commemorative first class
holiday postage stamp.

REMEMBER to adamantly and vocally BOYCOTT this stamp
when purchasing your stamps at the post office.
To use this stamp would be a slap in the face to all those
AMERICANS who died at the hands of those whom this stamp honors.

REMEMBER to pass this along to every patriotic AMERICAN you know.

Good point man, that xmas thing... now we honor religion from another country... kind of odd.

I see their point though.

Muslims are just like Catholics or any other religion. Most of the people in them are great people individually, they wouldn't hurt a fly.

But the radical fundamentalist type, or rather, the militant types, are off the wall whacko's that make everyone else look bad.

Most muslims believe in peace, and to kill someone is a horrible crime they can't conceive. They are offended by the war.

But the common man isn't in control, never will be, because it's only the radicals that care enough about power to get it. They lie to get it, then their murderous ways come out.

I don't mind the stamp for that reason, but I do find it hypocritical that we can't have a stamp celebrating christianity (I've never looked, but I believe you).

i'm not sure if it was about this particular stamp or another muslim stamp, but i recall that not too long after 9/11 a muslim stamp was put out. i guess it was to kind of "ease" the feelings of muslims everywhere that we dont really hate them all.

the problem is that it has become popular to dis-associate Christmas with the "dreaded 'C' word[Christ]". now i'm no Christian fanatic, but the extent that a catholic holiday has been commericialized is crazy.

back to your stamp...i sure as hell wont be buying any. well maybe 1 or 2...but just to burn .

after seeing that video of the poor american guy slowly get beheaded, i have a severe and deepened hatred for muslims...

they need to show that video on the news blur out the neck and show the american people how long and painful the beaheading of a american was by those muslims...

i mean honestly those pictures of our troops with the naked iraqis is all over the new creating an outrage against America...we need to step up to the plate and show the video and create a strong unity between americans...

every time i think of the guy getting beheaded with a steak knife..it just sickens me...and to think of all the fucking people whining about iraqi troops being mistreated...and we have innocent americans being tortured and killed...

while i whole heartedly agree, it'll never happen. the media would hate to be labeled as patriotic because then they wouldn't be able to give "fair and unbiased coverage". bunch of bullshit if you ask me. while covering the war in afghanistan, most reporters didnt even wear an american flag lapel pin for fear of being labeled "nationalists" and having their credibilty as "objective journalists" questioned. but beat on the USA and you'll make the cover of Time magazine.
