Newbie guide to insulin?

I've been using 10 IU preworkout since forever. Not sure I notice a difference anymore, but seems like a good add-on if it fits your protocol/lifestyle/goals.

Every day; it works everywhere/systemically. But I guess if you wanted to limit overall exposure to exogenous insulin you could use it on days when you're training lagging body parts. Seems kinda minutiae tho
How old are you?

Sounds very enticing, will think it through, i am relatively surprised my health and numbers are ok.

Considering trying insulin - novolin r- on my next massing phase. I'm going to start just with post workout and that meal is nothing but whey isolate & carbs from fat free cereal.

But if I wanted to try pre workout how much fat would be too much to have in my pre workout meal? I train AM so usually I have 800 calories from plain old fashioned oatmeal, casein protein, & 1 serving of blueberries 1 hr before I train. The meal has like 12 grams of fat w 10 coming from the oats. Is that too much fat if I pin the slin 45m later which is 15m before training? Of course I'll have my intra carbs & eaas. And I follow up my post wo whey/cereal with chciken & rice about 2-2.5 hrs later

Why? Postworkout? When you want it while training?

Just been doing a lot of research and seeing a lot of people recommend trying post workout before using it pre training. From what I've been reading post workout only works well too.

Yeah but I think they're talking about using a rapid acting insulin. Novolin is not a rapid insulin, but 'fast' (why is it not just called medium). So you want it pre-workout.

Also, maybe try not eating junk food but real food instead of cereal and protein powder.

And if you are you using slin, you want to have as close to zero fat as possible when it's active. How are you getting 10g of fat from oatmeal though, are you eating 3 bowls of it?

My breakfast bowl of oatmeal is 160 grams of oats so that's 4 servings- 600 calories from oats alone. If I were to use it pre workout I would need to add a lot of carbs to my intra so I could just pull them from the oats

I'm fine with there cereal. Everything else I eat is super clean and it's 0 fat. It my 1 meal I look forward to and I don't really do cheat meals.
