Nick Walker at New York Pro 2024

Dudes a freak for sure. Absolutely respect the size but it just doesn’t look right to me. There’s a fine line between Greek God and “science experiment” to me and he’s the latter.

Who knows what will be hot the week of the show. If a big influencer says it's all about conditioning, feathered glutes, vacuum pose, symmetry, whatever, etc., etc.,,,, that could influence the outcome.

Now that everything is instagram and social media marketing, they're gonna put some weight on trends, what gets clicks, who's best suited to popularize the sport where it counts (sales).

This has been going on for a while.

I really like that guy, he evolved pretty damn well in last couple years. They said his midsection was blocky and now his midsection is one of the sickest out there, i don't think there's anything he can't achieve. The only thing i didn't liked at all from the beginning is the varicose veins in his legs.

But dude is a monster..he looks like a comic character with huge body and tiny head. I think his arms cold were a bit under 24in. Freaking unbelieavable. I genuinely admire his drive and work ethic as well as his confidence.

I like Nick physique. I figure BB is about building the biggest symmetrical and proportional physique that one can. And for some that means science experiment. If we are going to base everything off a person genetic structure and the should be what some call aesthetic then many aren't in the running.

I can assure you this is false. Tyler Manion does recap videos on pro shows explaining the criteria and placings as well as where close competitors specifically need to improve.

The first callout or so this year are likely going be extremely diverse physique wise. Nick, Derek, Hadi, Samson, Hunter, Tonio, Brandon, Andrew, etc.

nicks rebound from his hamstring tear has been insane, best look to date so far from what ive seen.

Im a big fan of nick, but i see him in a solid 3rd-5th at the O. Id love to be wrong, but i dont see him higher than that unless he just really shows us something remarkable

I’d love to see him win this year but realistically I have him moving up to 2nd. He’s improving at a faster rate than hadi and can definitely come in bigger. If hadi brings the same look as at Arnold Ohio though, even derek’s improvements may not be enough especially if Derek can’t come in hard from the front. NY Pro will be an absolute massacre. The gap between nick and second place will be massive

yeah after seeing nicks most recent updates im very excited to see him next to hadi and derek at the O.
Sampson is still a wild card, if he makes strong improvements he will be in that mix as well.
but regardless of whos in the mix i just want to see nick next to hadi and Derek since they are all shorter, stockier guys.

Are most of these guys using synthol? In certain areas, because some of the proportions dramtically change.

matt jansen’s guys site inject their gear, some may use synthol probably on a case by case basis but he does have them site inject their regular injectables. And guys like nick, brett, or shaun would be on enough to have a synthol like effect

Lundsford even got called out for having weird lumps on his lats during front double bi pose.

Gray area between injection sites and site injections.

At the elite level they use/abuse everything they can to improve
Most of them are on real synthol
Despite this they all have unique genetics and have been putting to work in for years

Do you think site injections are filling the area? I'm doing only glutes now and i definitely need more round delts haha

Site injections of noninflammatory/low volume oil are not enhancing sites at all.

I work with someone close to Jansen, have yet to hear this.

Fact is guys put gear where it fits and doesn’t hurt. Most guys are not doing stuff like injecting small muscle groups with gear for site enhancement and if they are they aren’t well informed. There are better products for that.

Yes it’s being used. You don’t notice it when it is used correctly.

Yes. Most likely.

But not synthol like you're thinking from the memes of people with Popeyes arms throwing tons and tons of the stuff in.

SEO use at the pro level is usually small site level corrections.

I don't know any pros personally that use SEO, the above is just what I've heard from people who do or from various podcasts.

@Mac11wildcat would know better than I would. He's more intimately involved at a higher level than I am.
