NPP 150 - Experiment

I have a bunch of pharmacoms test suspension oil and water based. They both do the trick but the water based is a real bitch to inject. Even heating it prior to use along with a 22G, one out of two times the plunger will clog and I'll end up throwing the cc out. Def would go with oil based from them, although water based in general is way more effective IMO.

Stemco Labs use to have water based tne which didn't clog and it was fire. Unfortunately they're long gone Prob going to order some raws from panda and brew but I'm still learning. I'll update everyone if I find anything of the good stuff

I'm not a fan of water based, never tried pcom oil based. Is the water based one a suspension or the micronized base? Just wondering why it clogs...and I was under the impression for a water based one that is what you used. As for effectiveness everything I've read says it's pretty similar with the water based one kicking in slightly faster.

I couldn't tell you whether it's micronized or suspension. Wondering myself. But yea, I think I'm done with water based lol. You can see the powder clumped at the top of the amps. Not worth the trouble.

I've been hobbling around for a week because of pcom water based. It's getting tossed... Having it kick in thirty minutes earlier then oil base is NOT worth the crippling pip.

I would increase the BB personally, but EO trick would work fine also. I just like mine at 150mg/ml, otherwise it gets annoying to pin the extra oil.

That's if it crashes... If it held through the night you're off to a good start.

The 2 vials with 20% are holding, the 3 with 18% and EO are holding.

The 100mL w/o EO and at 18% I just checked on it again and it has less than 10 crystals in the bottom of it. Going to heat it up again and see how it holds.

If it crashes even a little again going to add some more 150mg but with enough BB to raise the total amount by 1% and see where it goes from there.

The ones with 60/40 split held.

The 18% ones with no EO 2 of the 3 vials had little crystals in it the bottom. I reheated them on Friday. Haven't checked since.

I brewed npp @ 166mg/ml last summer. 1/18 in straight mig840. Never crashed pip was almost none existant. House was fairly warm all summer but oddly it didn't flow well thru a slinpin. Ran it at 500mg ew with 750mg test cyp ew. Best blast to date can't wait to run again this winter.

I haven't tried anything with Mig yet. EO doesn't bother me. This was more to see if I could lol

If there is one crystal in the solution, you know that over time the entire thing will go. NPP at 150 is a bitch to keep holding, but using 40% EO can be hard on your filter as well.

Yes that's why I reheated it as you can see in the post you quoted.

All held fine with EO, even got it to hold at 200, with 100% EO it's easy, hence why this was an experiment to try EO in lesser amounts and not at all.

And no, PVDF and PTFE membranes handle EO just fine with no degrading, I don't use nylon filters.
