Yeah we're gonna vacation somewhere soon and I'll pop the question. I have enough hotel points to stay somewhere for a month. I'm a platinum iHG and honors member. ( hampton, candlewood suites, Hoilday inn, etc...)

Does your gf wear any rings now? Does she take them off to cook, do dishes, sleep, shower anything? If so there are websites with ring sizes and you can hold it up to the screen and get the size. Rings can be resized if it's not a perfect fit too

Just pick up her ring some time when it's laying on the counter or something, and act like you're trying to put it on. Then, when it is way too small, chuckle and ask something like "sheesh, how SMALL is your finger, I can't even get this over the tip of my finger?"... she'll make some comment about it being a certain size, and not even realize what you're up to. Just gotta make sure it's her ring finger.
My wife and I went ring shopping together, so I didn't have to sweat that part of it.
But I did use the trick above to find out what her ring size was for Christmas ring gifts.
Maybe you could ask one of her family members that you know an can trust to keep a secret but then again we know how that goes. Itll be a, i know something that you dont know type of thing lol.
