More abs than I do in a decade!

Why body weight dips? Weighted is fucking great. You ever use the seated push down machine to do drop sets? Those roast me and brought my tris way up.

I would love to do weighted dips but I don't have a belt and chain and my gym doesn't either. I should probably get one.

I use the push down machines often but never for drop sets. Usually when I use the push down machine I just go extremely heavy and keep adding weight each set. I think I will incorporate using it for drop sets though.

For hypertrophy drip sets are king.

I got my belt on elitefts . Com - and my squat belt. Nice shit.
 
Weighted dips helped my strength significantly. When I started them in Oct '14 I could barely do 5 body weight reps in a set, but I'd struggle through and do 40 reps. Now I can bang out 4 sets of 6-10 with a plate hanging like my nut sack, all in about 6 months. In that same time my bench went up almost 40lbs. Not to mention you look like a beast doing weighted dips and the chicks always look [emoji41]

I do too, mines a machine also I wish it was like a smith machine so I could go above cause the machine is 300 lbs but it's nothing to pump out 20 or 25 for at least 5 to 6 sets of them but it's not at a good position for the pec it pretty much puts it all on the tri's which is my strongest point.
 
How many dips can YALL do? I mean full ROM dips no weight.

I always do dips at the end for some reason so I'm never fresh but I can do 22 in one set when I'm tired. I thought it was pretty good for a dude my size and weight and long arms :) I never see guys my size doing them like me usually they have the assist on or do shortie reps

Going to the gym tonight I will bust out as many as I can in one set. I think I can easily do 25 but that's fresh.

I do chest tomorrow. I think ill go and find out. Usually I end up doing dips near the end too.

My gym doesn't either. I hold a 45lb dumbbell kinda between my knees when doing weighted dips or weighted pullups.

Ten sets of ten... I can do four sets of 12 with 2 plates.
 
Hey fellas I got a question. I get my bonus in 15 days and I'm looking at expanding my home gym. I'm really looking for like an Olympic Squat rack or Power rack. Do y'all have a preference of a place y'all would use? I have looked at academy and sears and haven't really found what I'm looking for.

Edit: Brutus hooked me up with that elitefts site earlier for a belt. They also have some good quality looking equipment to. Just wondering if y'all know of another place?

Yeah I've been looking at a lot of places like that. Honestly though I don't mind buying a new one and kinda of want to.

Now if someone finds a deal on someone selling Olympic weights let me know. Those fuckers are 1.00 a pound and that gets really expensive
