Odie's First Log

Seriously thinking about entering an amateur ahow in November. This new chick and some trainers at my gym are pushing me to do it. I will have my mind made up by the end of this cycle if I'm gonna do it. It's just so hard cause of the type of job I have. Sometimes I meal prep for the whole week and then get called out of town the next day for a week. Anyway I'm thinking about it. I know I will get destroyed by some 280 lb dude
Don't they put you in different weight classes. That wouldn't be fair to go up against someone that should be in a heavier weight category. But then again I'm not exactly sure how those competitions work either. I still think you would do awesome bro.
 
Yeah but only for like a week and we lived together for years. You know how that goes. Honestly I hate to say it but we will probably get back together. She is really really good for me. Last night was fun though and I definatly enjoyed getting some strange but I had plenty of that when I was younger. I'm 33 now and have to start thinking about a family
You must have a REALLY understanding gal. If she finds out you fucked another chick I can't imagine she'd stay with you. If that happened to me I wouldn't bet mine would and she shouldnt. You know when I served I seen this shit left and right. The chick would split and fuck around send letters to the marine or soldier telling him she couldn't wait for him to come home and she has a life to live and blah blah blah. Fuck that bitch. You know how that messes with your head? Distracts you and can get you killed. I never had that problem. Faith is paramount. Without that as a base nothing matters.

Not in this one. I would be in the heavy weight class. Anyone over 210 I believe is a heavy weight. I would probably be one of the smaller guys

So that means if you dropped under 210 you would be pretty much untouchable at that level. Shit if I was you I would just drop weight an see how well I do then bulk back up once I achieved what I set out for. That's just me though an I will never have the physical aspects to come close to competing lol.
 
I personally believe their are those who have fantastic genetic ability that never realize their potential. Due to alot of things. Life, limited drug use, or training habits etc. I think alot of these top pros just had a perfect storm to pursue that lifestyle and it takes dedication and copious amounts of drugs. Some thing pct can't accomplish. I don't think we've seen all their is too see out of genetics yet. Their are those who will never compete at that level that have everything it takes just don't have the right circumstances or lack desire.

I believe you fall in to this category. You have great muscle bellies and slim waist. There's more I can't touch on them all. But powerlifting for you would be a grave waste of talent. That's ok do what pleases you. Leave powerlifting to that fat guys. You have bigger fish to fry
 
By the way my legs suck. They were huge in high school but now that I'm constantly climbing stairs they have toned down. I've got a lot of work todo. That's why I'm looking at getting a squat/ power rack. Im on my way to train legs now. It's gonna suck. Especially since my hip hurts from last night. Lol
 
We oughta squat together. I could use the motivation. We could build those legs up in no time.

Myself I'm very much LEG DOMINANT. Which basically means my legs out shine my upper body any day of the week and with very little effort. I could NEVER have chicken legs. It's not in the cards. Now we could easily pack on another 20 lb of lean mass by bringing your legs to match your torso. Legs are the biggest body part and when their big you'll be big. You'd be damn impressive with some nasty wheels. We could squat a2g to develop that sweet hip flexor muscle that chicks drool over. You know that thing that holds your pants up ;) it should be developed like a muscle shelf and let's your pants rest naturally there and looks even better with a nice midsection (which I don't have...yet). Ya, we'll turn you in a bull alright
 
My legs arnt as bad as I make them out to be. There just not as big as they used to be. If I trained them like I do everything else they would bounce back. I'm just scarred to I guess. If I get called out on a job and me as the supervisor can't perform then im in serious shit cause I set the pace for the whole job. Plus if they get any bigger I'll have to have my pants custom made. It's very hard finding jeans. I always have to buy relaxed or loose fit and they are not relaxed or loose on me
