I do shoulder presses in front and back, so i've solved the shoulder issues for behind the neck presses on the smith by bending my head forward and bringing the bar to my neck then back up.

I like the smith because you can rack a few more pounds up but it's caused me some problems as well. On a smith machine you are forced to move in a very restricted motion. Not everybody is perfectly symmetrical so it can force an unnatural movement. I may be completely off base but when I use a free weight bar (lighter weight too) I feel the movements seem more natural and comfortable. I've tried the leaning forward and a few other things as well and I just feel safer with my spine and neck as straight as possible.

Right on, and I don't use a smith for my bread-and-butter lifts, and when I do I set up in a position I am most comfortable in so that I can move in the path of motion smoothly

Lol hope that clears it up. Its my recent ex that Ive been with for a little over 3 years. She's talking about moving to Arkansas to live with a family member and I don't see me letting that happen.
I'm not against the smith by any means. Only the behind the heads on it. Doing incline press burn outs and military press imo are great workouts

Yeah I here a lot of y'all always talking about shoulder problems. Ive been lucky there but I feel Im pushing my luck. I am very comfortable on the smith machine and feel it keeps me from getting hurt. Also like i mentioned before it keeps me in perfect form so I I know that my delts are taking all the weight
Go with the Smith machine if you got to . I use one in Alaska , great for rows and presses . No shame . lol

Yep I fucked up seeing her. Were defiantly gonna get back together now. Shhhh...dont any of you mother fuckers tell her what I've been up to. Damn its gonna be awkward when were at the lake because my mom may slip and tell her that I just had my other ex up there. Now she may not screw me on the jet ski any more

I was with that ex thats in the river pic for 7 years and never even talked about getting married. Now the ex Im getting back with Ive been thinking about it for quite some time. She's the one and I'm a damn fool. Im not getting any younger. With that said I still won't do it for another year at lest.
Living with a female is one of the hardest things that most guys will ever go through. No matter what were always wrong an don't forget to smile about it lol. An wow you was with her for 7yrs? That is an awfully long time. Its cool though that yall are still friends an have no hard feelings.
