DAY 3 OFF CYCLE
Well, gym sesh totally felt different.
Strength is not the same. I'm not sure if it's all in my head, but things definately felt heavier.
I worked out legs today & my body felt exhausted. I had so much energy while on var, I could keep lifting for hours.
Another thing I noticed, my muscles burned a lot more than before while performing an exercise. Everything felt on fire.
I left the gym wobbling.
I'm not looking forward to the return of DOMS.
I feel a little blue now that super powers are gone. Kinda blows to go back to being a simple mortal, lol.
I'm not as thirsty as I was when taking Anavar. Muscles still look pretty full.
I've been reading the book Starting Strength by Mark Rippetoe.
Absolutely love it!
Today I focused on practicing squats with the form he emphasizes.
I'm used to squatting parallel, using high bar & looking up. Never been a fan of going below parallel (ass to grass), I feared it would put too much stress on my knees.
I've been practicing low bar, gazing down and going as deep as I can, taking my "ass out of the hole"- I love that!
Totally I different feeling. It activated my glutes so much more! Hello new booty gains
Haven't been able to have a decent training sesh of shoulder, bis & tris.
My arm still hurts so I've been nursing it and taking it easy.
I was able to train back yesterday, without it bothering me too much. Thank goodness!
Diet is a little different. I'm no longer eating 2,000 cals.
Changed it to 1,600 which is around my maintance intake. I'm so hungry all the time though
may increase it to 1,700 instead.
Still drink 1G of water daily. Taking glutamine and glucosamine daily.
Exciting news: I booked my surgery date
JUNE 27th!!
I'm going to get bloods next week. Hoping everything looks good & the doc approves.
Ab check today. My lower abdomen isn't as vascular was before
