i'm of course basing my comment off of the people i see in this city. They're the scummiest bunch of scumbags i've ever seen, and i have no sympathy for them.

This city is a rats nest that could use some devine intervention, natural selection and a Punisher type vigilante.

i too am a recovering addict, but i wasn't a scum bag like these people are. i never burned anybody, i payed my bills and went to work everyday whether i was high or sick.

Don't take it personal. i'm basing my disgust on a very small sample of the immediate populace.

Yeah there’s a difference between addicts that are functioning or struggling etc but these addicts that are raping, assaulting old women for drug $, or shatting on the sidewalk and openly using drugs then tossing their used needles on the street....As a former user I don’t have much sympathy for them. I was more of a pharmaceutical drug user but on occasion I went to buy some crack and couldn’t wait to get home I’d at least go in an alley where no one could see me. I don’t have an issue the ones that gave up but don’t cause trouble and keep to themselves.

I was naive to the amount of drug abuse in our country. A lot of good people get caught up in it. Theres an older crane operator(at work) whose son was/is a terrible addict. The guy told his son the he couldnt give him anymore money so the son lit himself on fucking fire. Hes a scarred mess now but still abuses drugs. The dad helped pay for his rehab 3+ times.
