Old Ladies and Anavar

Anavar not causing bloat is a myth. It bloats my gf, and it bloats her female trainer who is a pro. Her trainer switched her over to equipoise and super low dose test, and it worked way better than anavar
how much test?

I guess my main point would be that there's so many other things besides anavar. There's too much bro science when it comes to woman. The biggest thing she did was get a coach who's familiar with this stuff.

Does she ever stop test?
or it's like trt?

I wonder what would be a dosage of 20-25mg test P divided 3x a week on a young woman.

the test is for trt, the equipoise was for her cycles. she tried anavar, and the side effects were too much. way way less on the equipoise, and the results were better. just ordered some pharm grade hgh for her. going to run 1 iu per day and see how that goes.

I'll say this again, she hired a female trainer extremely familiar with this stuff. Women are so much more sensitive to this stuff than we are, and we didn't want to guess. Another point is that there's so much bro science about anavar being a weak steroid perfect for women, it's not the case at all. It's an extremely powerful effective steroid, and should be treated as such

Well it's here: Last day of cycle. Feeling a little apprehensive but also a little relief. Looking back I would say I was a little conservative with this first cycle. Not in regards to dosage, but training. I wasn't sure what I expected, but it was almost like I didn't want to be superwoman and lift as heavy as I could. I did try more volume, but towards the second half or last quarter of the cycle I started gaining confidence in lifting heavier.

I hit a squat PR of 205x3/4 on Saturday and I'm going to try to squat that again Saturday (leg day) and maybe more.

Bench was consistent at 120, but I went into the cycle with 120 being super challenging. My goal is 40 reps and I'm now able to do that in 4 sets.

DL increased some not much. 155-165 to 175-185....DLs are 1 step forward 2 steps back for me. I have a love/hate with them with a little more hate than love. Repping DLs for volume is torture for me. I just joined a new powerlifting/strength gym though and everyone is eager to help there......maybe I'll get there.

Shoulders increased too. OH lift 80.50 lbs. Started at 55 I believe. I'm following T-Nation's V-Taper workout for that. I can't recommend that strongly enough.

Body: Definitely upper body gains. Arms are bigger and harder. Shoulders a *little* capped. Chest has a nice developing split. Obliques/abs...there is a difference I see IRL. It's hard to capture in a photo though. Lower body: quads are a little bigger and I think I'm getting some separation as I've tried to cut these last few weeks. Booty gains - a little. Still have got a little hail damage, but I know that's more a function of diet and BF%. It's definitely harder. Those 4x/week thrusts are working.

I will NOT miss the bloat from the var. In fact I'm hoping it IS bloat. It's been so long I just don't know. I went into this cycle at the end of a bulk....yes, I did things opposite. It's a bulk that drove me crazy because my 22 year old coach/daughter talked me into it and my now 49 year old body cannot bulk and cut like a 22 year old. I don't think I'll bulk again if I can ever get back to the leanness I had before it. I found it near impossible to lose weight while on var.

So that's it. I'm still going to be around reading and learning and tracking everyone's progress and still available to answer questions and whatnot.

great job. And yes, anavar causes my girl bloat as well, but it's great for a first run when learning this stuff. there's alot better compounds to run, my girls fav is equipoise, but talk to lots of people, read alot, and learn. and thanks for posting the log, it's been great

Thanks rpbb! She should post a log! I'll dig around the different forums. Thanks!

Nice update! I know you said you were conservative with the weights, but those are #'s you should be very proud of.

The water-weight messes with my head from time to time and makes me wonder if it's really just fat, lol. But I really don't think it is because some days I wake up looking really lean and others I look bloated as fuck. Definitely won't miss that!

What are you planning for your next cycle? I'm kind of looking forward to coming off mine, just so I can start again. ;)

Looks like primo :) I'm reading some pretty good things about it. Reviews are mixed but tend towards the positive. Less bloat I've read too!

Nice! Are you going to log your Primo cycle? I purchased some not too long ago but I think I'm going to run just Var again for my next cycle, but maybe at a higher dose. That or I'll kickstart with Var while running Primo and drop the Var once the Primo kicks in. Decisions, decisions.

You should run primo on its own first for a few weeks to see how you tolerate it then add var to finish things off... stacking compounds, your doses should be adjusted as well so I would recommend starting at the dose you know how your body reacts to it... plus running additional compound with it... higher dose of var may be too much... just something to consider...plus you'll be able to see what's doing what since you already know how you react to var.
