Operation Cyber Juice - Very interesting read about recent UGL bust on all levels.

DEA Announces Major Steroid Operation
Operation Cyber Juice: U.S., global takedown includes home labs, gyms, local distributors
SEP 01 (WASHINGTON - DEA officials today announced a nationwide series of enforcement actions targeting every level of the global underground trade of anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs, the vast majority of which are manufactured and trafficked from underground labs in China.

DEA-led Operation Cyber Juice saw over 90 arrests and the seizure of 16 underground steroid labs, 134,000 steroid dosage units, 636 kilograms of raw steroid powder, and 8,200 liters of raw steroid injectable liquid.
DEA-led Operation Cyber Juice comprised of over 30 different U.S. investigations in 20 states and resulted in the arrest of over 90 individuals, the seizure of 16 underground steroid labs, approximately 134,000 steroid dosage units, 636 kilograms of raw steroid powder, 8,200 liters of raw steroid injectable liquid, and over $2 million in U.S. currency and assets. In addition, DEA and its partners assisted in foreign steroid investigations in four countries coordinated by Europol. Domestic law enforcement partners include the Department of Homeland Security, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.

In Arizona alone, Operation Cyber Juice investigations yielded the seizure of 4 underground steroid conversion labs, the seizure of nearly 150,000 dosage units of finished product, 121 pounds of raw steroid powder, 22 liters of raw steroid injectable liquid, and over $300,000 in U.S. currency and assets.

Often found in these underground steroid labs are finished steroid product, raw steroid powder, oils needed for steroid conversion to a finished product, conversion kits, and other lab equipment. These products are commonly obtained via the internet from Chinese chemical manufacturing companies and underground labs.

“Too many young people are ruining their lives and damaging their bodies from steroid abuse,” said DEA Acting Administrator Chuck Rosenberg. “Through Operation Cyber Juice, DEA is attacking the global underground steroid market, exposing its danger and lies.”

“This multi-agency collaboration sends a strong message to those who traffic in illegal and dangerous performance-enhancing drugs,” said Peter T. Edge, executive associate director of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). “There’s no question that our joint efforts among HSI, DEA and Interpol targeting a very significant drug distribution network will have a huge impact on the distribution of illegal steroids and other dangerous performance-enhancing drugs in the United States.”

Rob Wainwright, Director of Europol, stated: “This international law enforcement action was accomplished through the cooperation of multiple agencies committed to the single goal of identifying and dismantling a lucrative criminal enterprise. Europol will continue its successful cooperation with the Drug Enforcement Administration and the World Doping Agency to eliminate this crime that spans across the globe and cyberspace”.

The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Travis Tygart stated: "In the global fight against dangerous performance-enhancing drugs, collaboration between anti-doping organizations and law enforcement is vital. This joint investigation again demonstrates that we can work together to identify and hold accountable underground steroid suppliers and users who are committing crimes and who may also be cheating clean athletes and sport. The actions taken today will help to ensure that all athletes are safer and any young athletes who are pressured to use these drugs to win in sport are not preyed upon by illegal drug dealers."

Furthermore, World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) Director General David Howman stated, “For a long time now, the World Anti-Doping Agency has been concerned about the illegal activity in some countries of underground production and trade of anabolic steroids and other performance-enhancing drugs. These substances, either as full steroid products or in raw material form, are being produced in unsanitary “underground laboratories” with no concern whatsoever given to the labelling of the products, nor to the health of the end user – quite often the athlete, and worryingly, very often young people. This problem is proliferating globally. It has become a public health issue and therefore requires an international solution through partnerships and collaboration. By partnering with USADA and the DEA in this major steroid operation, WADA has been able to prevent potentially harmful steroid substances from getting into the hands of athletes looking for an edge. This is a good example of anti-doping and law enforcement working well together to further their own efforts of reducing doping and protecting public health.”

There is great danger in buying steroids, chemicals, and other illicit products on the Internet. Many companies operating illegally both in the United States, China, and elsewhere have no regard for product safety and mislabeling is common – both intentional and unintentional. Products are often misrepresented, and their safety is not at all guaranteed. In addition, federal agents report that many of the underground steroid labs seized are extremely unsanitary, further illustrating the danger in buying these products illegally. For example, recent lab seizures uncovered huge amounts of raw materials being mixed in bathtubs and bathroom sinks.

Throughout Operation Cyber Juice, DEA and its law enforcement partners worked closely with both USADA and WADA, receiving actionable intelligence that resulted in many of these investigations. This vision was to utilize law enforcement, anti-doping resources, and intelligence, to assist in furtherance of their respective efforts. In addition, Europol analysts were collecting information and providing leads to participating countries for further investigation.

Previous DEA steroid investigations such as Operation Raw Deal in 2007 focused on raw material manufacturers and suppliers in China and other countries; underground anabolic laboratories in North America; numerous U.S.-based websites distributing materials, or conversion kits, necessary to convert raw steroid powders into finished product; and Internet bodybuilding discussion boards that are the catalysts for individuals to learn how to illicitly discreetly purchase and use performance enhance drugs, including anabolic steroids. Many of the underground steroids labs targeted in this case advertise and are endorsed on these message boards.

its sad that with all the herion dealers out there that they are still putting money into they kinds of things. That money could have filled the gap in the recent wage increase for vets. There are so many things it could have done. But in some ways I do understand it. Being an older guy I see many children in the training centers and gyms using the stuff and its really sad to watch because they still have nice normal numbers. I don't enven produce on my own anymore... No LH or FSH really either. And kids act up often when using and cause issues that draw this kind of negative attention to the sport. Id like to see them take down the Olympia..JOke- But serious you never see them showing up on stage pinching guys who are no doubt using all the gears. Its a joke though because all of those labs will be set up all over again by the end of the day and there will be new sites up... all the NFL and NBA ect will still be using and the Billy bad ass 15 year old whos been on tren and all kinds of other shit will still drive his truck into the house next door because he thought the guy inside disrespected him. Nothing changes just more tax payer money wasted fighting a war on what a person can and cant do with their own body.

This involves the bust of 16 different domestic UGLs over the past 4 months. Has anyone seen a list of the UGLs involved?

I suspect most of the busts have already appeared in the news even if not identified by name. If I understand the press release correctly, the lastest "Operation Cyber Juice" simply combines them under one umbrella probably for impact.

Domestic UGLs are obviously low-hanging fruit for the DEA.

The only two I picked up on so far are: GeneScience Pharmaceutical and HULK (not sure if that's their lab name). I'll post some later if I'm able to figure them out from the pictures... those that I can't identify I'll post up here.

This is the kind bullshit you getvwhen you vote for progressive canadits in either party they want to control your life from cradle to grave tell you how to live you're life all the while doing far more damage than good. Creating a criminal enterprise when they could be regulating it and taxing it.

Hey, the government just wants to keep people from "ruining their lives". That's all

Chuck Rosenberg, DEA Acting Administrators, said: “Too many Americans, including young people who are still developing physically, are ruining their lives and damaging their bodies from steroid abuse. Next month the whole squad will be jacked lol. I said this on another forum about this but the officers were just out of juice it will happen again a few months from now when they run out.
While I'm not really against cops using AAS, I am against cops opening themselves to corruption and participation in illegal activity. Their job is to enforce the law not to selectively decide which laws apply to them.

Cops using steroids seems quite common. There's no shortage of cops selling steroids as well. Here's a few cases from the past couple of years:

The Complete Series: When Your Local Cops Are Steroid Dealers

@Millard i know what you mean man, the town I grew up in when I got in the gym there was a guy everyone got gear from he was a cop. This other guy started getting in gear 10x better than the cop and guess what that guy got arrested for steroids. I don't have anything against cops but I can't stand the ones that do shit like that. The funny thing about that cop tho he got busted for making meth, wasn't in the paper or news.

ISIS beheads innocent people and spreads terrorism.
China steals patented tech and manipulates currency which effect economics.
Iran works on nukes.
Heroin, meth, and Cocaine are still used by many in every town causing serious health risks and fund organized crime syndicates that murder and terrorize.
Ecstasy (Molly) and other drugs such as pain killers and downers are glamorized by a sick culture that young people worship.
Cigarettes and Alcohol are top health risks with stats that show they lead to deaths and illness for hundreds of thousands of people each year -- yet are available at most gas stations. Lets be real, most teens have already started drinking and think it is glamorous.
Those same kids can not do simple math problems or answer basic questions about history, have zero job skills, and feel a sense of entitlement but no drive to work.
The USA can not stop illegal immigrants from crossing our boarders. We can not contain diseases such as Ebola because we let everyone from anywhere come and go into our nation. We can not stop both the poor and the elite from other nations coming just to give birth here to use our system later by exploiting citizenship.
We continue to lose job as manufacturing moves abroad.
Wall Street bankers get rich as kings while you and I get laid-off because of their poor investment practices and fiscal mistakes (or scams).
Our budget deficit continues to get more and more out of hand as government corruption seems to grow exponentially.
the list goes
on and on...

but STEROIDS are what needs to be a focus!? That is where we need to put effort, time, tax dollars into!? money that could be used for education, health care, a stronger military -- nope we need to worry about steroids!?

who the fuck are these "representatives" representing? I never heard any average joe in line at Walmart talk about how much he or she really wishes the government would work harder at steroid busts! but I am sure you have all heard many care about the real issues that are out of control!

Makes me sick! they love you to take all kinds of drugs as long as big pharma gets rich; but like any drug dealer they don't want you turning to another source or different product, that is the bottom line.

Well if the government wants to regulate U.S. citizen's health, then maybe they should consider closing all McDonald's, Burger King's, Wendy's, etc...as well as banning all sales of alcohol and tobacco products. I find it interesting how government decides what is acceptable and what is not. I certainly don't know anyone who goes to McDonald's to better their physique.

Guy wants to be more of a woman.....
Woman wants to be more like a man......

The above are celebrated by the media and there's a doctor willing to help you down that path. Man wants to be more of a man?? Too bad, you got to prove low T to even get a doc to consider prescribing anything. Thus UGLs are the only option.
Excellent point. I haven't even thought about it that way.

Ironically a woman can get insane amounts of Test Cyp prescribed if she decides she wants to be a he :( any of us try that with gear, we'd be crucified and cuffed. Be lectured about unhealthy lifestyle choices
