I dont agree with donating to something that has already been paid… you’s do know that the government pays for this stuff then asks for donations?? Ehh, sure these hospitals and research facilities receive government funding but it is still definitely worth donating to them. Where I live there is a children’s hospital that operates almost strictly off of donations. Which means if a family comes to them and their child has cancer and they can’t afford treatment they NEVER turn that family away and deny the child treatment. The child receives the needed treatment and they use the donations to cover it.

You should also research what donating to the Ronald McDonald foundation goes to. It’s a great deal. When a family travels to a big city so their child can receive the best treatment, the donations that were collected at Macdonald’s covers the family’s stay in comfortable housing along with so much more.

Very odd to read what you’ve written here. For example, take what happened in North Carolina this past year. Those people lost everything and FEMA gave those families $2k. Because the government gave them a small bit of funding do you think they are good and that no one else should help them?

Quite honestly you’re rambling and talking out of your ass. Like when you mention a football player asking for hurricane money. You are referring to JJ Watt who raised a lot of money for the city of Houston after Hurricane Harvey. That money went to help a lot of people who needed it. Do you think the government comes in and gives money to everyone after a hurricane who lost their homes? They don’t. The government gives funding to the city to create detention ponds to help to assist in preventing it in the future.
