I know overtraining can affect your gains but can overworking? I get plenty of sleep but work 7 days a week now 8+ hours a day. I figure it might some.

If you are always exhausted due to working a lot that can affect workouts to a degree. How is your diet?

You'll adapt somewhat. More food and sleep will help, of course. If I'm not at work, the gym, shopping for or prepping food I'll usually just stay in bed and rest. Not sleep, but just lounge around between meals. I usually only get to do this two evenings a week, but it seems like it helps.

That kind of work life is, in my experience, much more damaging to my mental well-being than my physical. My body has adapted to long hours at work, but my mind hasn't seemed to catch up. If anything, it's gotten worse; insomnia, stress, etc.

I was trying to cut for the last 6 months and have managed to lose 35lbs but it's come to a stop. I'm finding it harder and harder to maintain a deficit when I'm always working, working out or on the go. I'd love one day to sleep in and do nothing. I can't wait for Memorial Day bc that will be my fist day off in almost a month
